Omg! Girl that rocks so much! This is a reason why I want to learn to play the red electric violin I've bought ❤
@kellim66507 жыл бұрын
I absolutely LOVE your violin!!! Where did you get it??? Amazing cover by the way, I wanna learn to play this one day!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🎻🤘🏼🤘🏼🎶
@Brigitfiddle7 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Kelli! I got it from my local music shop in Toronto, Long and McQuade. :) It's a cool substitution when you want to really rock out in the winter on some train tracks and your wood violin might explode because of the cold! haha You can totally learn it! Just jam along to the original song and you'll be shredding in no time!
@kellim66507 жыл бұрын
Okay thank you!!! And yeah, what sucks about having an acoustic is that you have to "work around the weather conditions" so that you know... like you said, it won't explode 😂😂 But thanks!! I've been looking for a black electric violin for quite some time now so thank you!!! 😊
@Brigitfiddle7 жыл бұрын
Yeah no worries! If you're in Canada you should be able to get to a Long & McQuade to try some out! I don't know about the US but check these ones out: usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-instruments/strings/silentviolins/

What makes this more awesome. Your facial expressions also rock out. I don't know if that makes sense. But you see other violenist's They have that serious face going on. You go all out. Even at Nakamura's entrance. Out of the 3. You were the one rocking with your face.
@Brigitfiddle7 жыл бұрын
Aww thanks really nice of you to say! I've trained REALLY hard to be able to even smile and play violin. It's a really hard skill to perform and play the violin, since most training is classical and doesn't require any sort of stage presence at all, just fast fingers. :P I'm a rock violinist mainly and have been training as so for years, and the other violinists in the ring focus more on classical style, which is why we had different performance techniques with Nakamura. We all rocked out as hard as we could though, what a crazy time! haha :)
@Humanoidfreak7 жыл бұрын
do you think they will call you back again to do that? Or are they just going with that one dude who brings out Shinsuke?
@Brigitfiddle7 жыл бұрын
I have absolutely no idea, that's the fun of the job! You never know! I think he's the violinist in the states and they just needed violinists in Canada because flying musicians around is expensive. So if he does another show in Toronto then maybe. ;P hehe

@@Brigitfiddle I think so I was just asking because of this Titanic story I am writing and if it was made into a movie I was thinking a violin song like this one could be used for it.

Pretty good, I have to admit. I noticed drop-offs there. Reasons?
@Brigitfiddle3 жыл бұрын
My speaker wasn't working that day so I had to shoot the video without being able to hear the sound. xD For every mistake you see in any video, it's usually a technical issue that couldn't be fixed instead of something the person making the video didn't notice.
@chancelambert84623 жыл бұрын
Randy Rhodes was an amazing guitarist. There is no doubt why a lot of people enjoy transposing his work to other instruments including the violin. Thank you Brigit! Take gentle care.

1) How did you find this place and 2) When you did, was it just an immediate "So...Crazy Train cover, yeah?"
@Brigitfiddle8 жыл бұрын
+Lauren Morley Haha I was there for a photoshoot with a local photographer to help me get some professional shots for work. He took me to this park behind the Rogers centre that has trains. We did a video of me playing fiddle music because he wanted to test out the video part of his camera and just last week, I found it and I thought "I could edit this together to make it look like I'm playing crazy train....yasssss" :D

That was amazing! Love Ozzy. My husband said that he would play this with his band if I learn it on violin. Did you learn to play it by ear (I don't think that I am quite there yet lol) or is there actual music for it?
@doowagoflame43687 жыл бұрын
Shelley Kivi I think it was by ear but I'm sure you might be able to figure out by looking up the guitar notes
@shelleykivi1727 жыл бұрын
Doowago Flame. Thank you for this. I doubt that I would be able to figure it out though because I am pretty new and would need quite a bit of direction. I will definitely go take a look though and see what happens :)
@doowagoflame43687 жыл бұрын
Shelley Kivi I'm not a violinist myself but im assuming it might work even tho she is playing some of the vocals, you might be able to look those up too, good luck

Umm why is the audio and video completely not in sync 🧐
@Brigitfiddle4 жыл бұрын
Because I was VERY new to video editing and we didn't get the correct shots to make it in sync. ;D haha

As a violinist, I can tell this cover is fake first off, her bowing and notes don’t go along with the notes therefore, it’s fake.
@snowcloud83 жыл бұрын
Cover is good, the sound editing could be better. I'm sure you're actually playing the notes but the video is largely out of sync with the audio.
@Brigitfiddle3 жыл бұрын
Yup! The day of the shoot, our speaker died so I had to play along to nothing so it was pretty much impossible to sync up. haha But it was fun anyways! :)
@withinder62323 жыл бұрын
You are not playing in time with the bowing.
@Brigitfiddle3 жыл бұрын
I'm not! :) That's because our speaker broke so we couldn't film it properly to the cover I had recorded. But it was still super fun to make!
