I went to download fest in the UK this year with the main reason being to watch Ozzy as it is his final tour. You go there knowing he ain't a spring chicken anymore and that his vocals will be off. He is a legend and a rock icon at the end of the day. He done awesome for his age!

Con l'alcol non si scherza, forse è anche peggio di alcune altre droghe, quando si arriva a muoversi per piccoli passi come faceva lui, ti fa pensare alla cirrosi epatica e quindi a morte certa, quella malattia molto raramente lascia scampo. Invece rieccolo qua dinuovo a fare il domatore di folle. Ce lo siamo chiesti ieri anche io ed i miei amici. Non avendo visto altri live di questi anni su KZbin temevo sarebbe stato praticamente un'esibizione di Zakk Wylde con una vecchia salma sul palco a fare da scenografia. Come riferimento avevo proprio l'Ozzy vecchio e stanco della sua serie televisiva (che poi essendo io dell'89, quello è stato lo show che mi ha introdotto al personaggio). Invece giù il cappello, la voce teneva e lui saltava da una parte all'altra del palco interagendo col pubblico. Gran bell'evento, anche se dei Judas hanno tagliato un pezzo della scaletta.

Tuned down so Ozzy doesn’t have to put as much pressure on his voice. Lots of standard tuned songs go down a half or whole step for live performances.

It's a natural process called growing older, dude! in case you don't notice, your voice grows older with you, no matter your vocal training and in this case rearranging the song's score (yes, the thing you and others here in the comments keep calling down tuning) it's the only sensible choice for a professional, in order to a) not to make a sad joke of himself and b) keep an healthy and functioning voice (unlike, just to mention a random one, Hansi Kursch, who has overdone one time too much and now is no longer able to take a proper high pitch for the sake of his life) as long as possible
