I'll never forget the day, just after Christmas this last year, I was standing in the cemetery at my great aunt's funeral and, after the prayer, the pastor whipped out a boombox and announced that "On behalf of Marlene's wishes, we'll all now be jamming out to some Ozzy," and cranked this song. There's just nothing more hardcore than listening to this in a cemetery at your 84-year-old great aunt's grave. Amazing.

Lyrics: The light in the window is a crack in the sky A stairway to darkness in the blink of an eye A levee of tears to learn she'll never be coming back The man in the dark will bring another attack Your momma told you that you're not supposed to talk to strangers Look in the mirror, tell me, do you think you life's in danger, yeah? No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) (Tears, tears...) Another day passes as the night closes in The red light goes on to say it's time to begin I see the man around the corner waiting, can he see me? I close my eyes and wait to hear the sound of someone screaming here No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) It's just a sign of the times Going forward in reverse Still, he who laughs last Is just a hand in the bush So now that it's over, can we just say goodbye? (I'd like, I'd like) I'd like to move on and make the most of the night Maybe a kiss before I leave you this way Your lips are so cold, I don't know what else to say I never wanted it to end this way, my love, my darling Believe me when I say to you in love, I think I'm falling here No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) Is just a hand in the bush (In the bush, in the bush, in the bush...)

I cannot take this music for granted. When I tell people “I grew up listening to the BEST music” I truly did. From Rock to Metal, Rap to Hip Hop, Soul to Funk, Swing to Country, Bluegrass to Latino, even Classical Music got through… God bless my dad for embracing the music and loving it his entire, short 46 years. I seek new music the way I do today because of the incredible music I’ve listened to from the time I realized that’s what ears were doing. Godspeed everybody, and KEEP THE MUSIC ALIVE! 🤘🏻🔥

@@dave3417 Well, it kind of sounds *similar* to ozzy's *backstory* when he would be harassed by bullies by *forcing* him to pull his *pants* down when walking home from school when he was at the age of *11,* as it was *tragically* screwed up for him who didn't deserve that bullcrap obviously, from what I read the *first* time online, then from the book about his *earlier* life at a *book store* called barns & noble. But *also* read when he *befriended* a bully by his *humor* probably at age 12 *or* 13, and stuff else from what I read and all.🤔

A light thru the window leaves a crack in the sky
@DanteSparda123
@DanteSparda123 Жыл бұрын
Lyric : The light in the window is a crack in the sky A stairway to darkness in the blink of an eye A levee of tears to learn she'll never be coming back The man in the dark will bring another attack Your momma told you that you're not supposed to talk to strangers Look in the mirror, tell me, do you think you life's in danger, yeah? (I'd like, I'd like) I'd like to move on and make the most of the night Maybe a kiss before I leave you this way Your lips are so cold, I don't know what else to say I never wanted it to end this way, my love, my darling Believe me when I say to you in love, I think I'm falling here No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) Is just a hand in the bush (In the bush, in the bush, in the bush, in the bush, in the bush, in the bush, in the bush, in the bush)

True, I'm 23 tho I was exposed to his solo music pretty young. I would blast this shit in my earphones with my shitty cd player in school before I had my also shitty flip phone. So if anything, even tho I sometimes wish I grew up in that era I'm just glad I grew up with his music before the world changed. The only thing that bums me out is that I probably won't ever be able to see him live but his music is powerful enough to not make me too bummed about that. :) 🖤✨🤘

You kids bring a tear to an old geezers eyes 😥 the man was AMAZING to see back in the day....literally beautiful women everywhere were throwing their underwear from the crowd everywhere around the world....everyone was at peace with each other, there wasn't as much hatefulness in the world, you could smoke a joint with someone you didn't know at a concert like one of his and become best friends for life, it was an amazing time to be alive and the fact some of you youngsters out there are still holding on to living that dream life really keeps the rock alive in this old man love you guys....keep it alive!

I remember one time when I was out cycling, the solo started right when I approached this massive hill. I had rode up this hill several times before and it always kicked my ass. But that day when I was listening to No More Tears and the solo kicked in, I ended up crushing it and actually made a new PR. Made it to the top right as the solo finished. That being said the solo in this song has to be one of my all time favorites. Masterpiece. Zakk Wylde is a legend.
