To be fair, I remember one particular episode where the neighbors were being noisy at night and keeping the Osbournes awake, and they had Jack, Kelly and Sharon arguing with them about keeping it down or what ever, and at one point Ozzy finally wakes up and chucks a rock through their window. Anyway, the neighbors knew they were aggravating them and kept egging them on, and all I remember is Jack saying "We just want you to SHUT THE FUCK UP and be quiet" or some or another....

mark rigsby Sharon, who has been Ozzy's manager since his solo career began, edited ALL the original bass and drum parts out of his old solo albums when they were reissued to avoid paying the original artists their royalties. Not only are the original works of art compromised and IMHO nowhere NEAR the quality of the original artists but the artists THEMSELVES have been compromised as I'm sure they could use the money and Ozzy and Sharon have plenty to spare. It was greedy and not the right thing to do by the artists OR the fans of original recordings. It's also a blight on the memory of Randy Rhoads who would NEVER have approved of a move like this with his work.

I get tons of likes UNTIL I reveal the artist. I have actually turned people on to Ozzy's music. They once thought he was a Satan worshiper because they were mislead by narrow minded people. After I showed them that Ozzy sings of peace, not doing drugs, not drinking and that he just wants to sing and be surrounded by peaceful and happy people. It is wrong to judge him and spread lies about him. Ozzy has a heart of gold and he has made my life a lot happier with his songs and videos. Thank you, Ozzy, for sharing your music with me.

It's not possible to not love Ozzy. He very well could be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, and the world was too stupid to see it. And what he said about religious zealots - "We gave them a job." Most of you don't know just how true that is. I had the misfortune of being brought up in a ridiculous conservative "christian" environment. Went to christian schools for my entire education, save one year. And every once in a while, the school would bring in a speaker to tell us young, impressionable minds the dangers of rock and roll. I SHIT YOU NOT. I went to a fundamentalist baptist school in high school and when I was in 7th grade and just really getting into music, the school brought in a speaker who we had to have a chapel session with for THREE DAYS and in each one, he just went on and on and on and on about all the horrors of "secular" rock music. To this day, this is emblazoned upon my memory: INXS was popular at the time. And of course, the pronunciation of their name was "in excess". This fucking moron speaking to us, he goes, "and there's a band, I-N-X-S [spelling out the letters] with an album called "KICK" (for some reason, the name "Kick" seemed controversial, I'm not sure why), with a song called "DEVIL INSIDE"!!!" Me and several people could barely contain our laughter. I also remember back in 1985, a few years before the above story, I was in a different church/school. This one was "charismatic pentacostal". For those of you not in the know, that's code for "fucking insane". Anyway, yes, another one of those religious zealots came to speak with us, and the main topic he spoke on was how satanic Ozzy Osbourne was. Personally, I didn't care at the time. I didn't know who Ozzy was and I didn't understand what they were going on about. Decades later, in retrospect, it is so very clear that religious zealots are nothing but hypocritical assholes who are dumb as rocks. Ozzy '16, he's got my vote. He should rule the world.

I met Ozzy at an airport once in Fairbanks, Alaska. I very politely asked him if I could have my picture taken with him while he waited for his limo to arrive, he told me to "f*ck off". I was a huge Ozzy fan up until that point. I have met many celebrities, some nicer than others, some too busy to stop and say hello even but still smiled and said "sorry gotta run" but never have I met a more absolute contradiction than Ozzy. His says his fans mean everything to him but yet he says this to someone he's never met before in his life within the first 10 seconds.

If your being walked up to by hundreds of people every day trying to touch you say hi take a pic sign some shit every day. You would tell people to fuck off too.

Eddie Van Halen, Sammy Hager, Alex Van Halen, Michael Anthony, The Gin Blossoms, John Fogerty ( CCR), Steve Vai, Steve Lukather ( Toto), Billy Joe Armstrong ( Green Day ), Neil Peart ( Rush ) The Violent Femmes, Godsmack, Cheap Trick, Kansas, the Doobie Brothers, and about a dozen more people/bands I have met never said an unkind word to me when I met them. They signed autographs, just chatted if they could or at least said "sorry gotta run" with a smile, nobody ever told me within seconds of meeting them to F$ck off before except Ozzy.

Hmm, I never mentioned that I met Eddie Van Halen did I? If that's whom your speaking of, but I did meet him and he was very, very drunk. It was the last night of the 5150 tour at the Cow Palace in San Francisco and I had my picture taken with him but he never spoke a word to me, I think he was too drunk to talk. I was backstage for about a half an hour and I never saw him speak a word to anyone actually, he just stumbled around wordless. Michael Anthony on the other hand was extremely nice, Sammy was a loud mouth and Alex was funny and goofey, interesting night that was.

Life is full of regrets, you either get over them or you don't. Hail Ozzy.

I don't think Ozzy gets enough recognition for his melodies...and , according to Tony, usually Ozzy would just come out with the vocal melody first time after hearing Tony's Riff. (Now and then using the riff as the melody.)
