+mike dawg By his own admission, Ozzy isn't intelligent (if that's what you mean by "smart"). All the bands he was in were carried by the skills and intelligence of others - Geezer's lyrics and Tony's riffs in Sabbath - Rhoads' musicianship in his solo work... When you see Ozzy live (pissed in the past or sober today) he just looks like he's up there performing someone else's stuff, which, of course he is. Compare his live performances with Ian Gillan, Rob Halford or the late, great Ronnie James Dio - those guys sing (or sang) their hearts out every night - Ozzy, by comparison liiks like he's going to his 9 - 5 job.

I believe allowing yourself to be completely free with your mind and sober. Enables you to work on your dreams and experience life on your own terms. Instead of using a drug. Let life and your passion being the high from what you get out what you enjoy doing. Like what Ozzy said. For me. It was the passion that came from the music and performanc together. Sabbath will always be at the top of my list. Simply because they were different in so many ways

All he said in the video is as follows: 0:08 "Don't do drugs." from 0:23 - 0:34 "Take more drugs hehe.. I, I did what I did when I was 21 and I did what I did when I was thirty but now I feel better today than I've done in a long time 66 is just a number." What's the secret, how are you still rock and rolling as hard as you are: ' 0:38 - 1:19 "I, honestly I I work out exercise a lot. I go for regular physicals.. call me a hypochondriac, I don't care. I I don't smoke anymore, I don't do drugs anymore, I don't drink booze anymore.. and I and I think that says a lot for why I am here. There's no mysterious fucking.. you know, hex from he-, Satan to gu-[inaudible]... and to be honest with you, I really like being sober 'cause it's like.. people who never take smoke pot an' a lot who think 'I as, I might have a joint with you..' but it's the other way around for me, I been doing dope and booze since I was about 14.. and you know, to be clear headed and.. being ok with being ok." When you left Sabbath -> were you scared people weren't gonna like it: 1:31 - 2:07 "Oh absolutely. I mean. But I've eh said this before, the earliest days of any.. Band thing or whatever mean, are the best 'cause you got everything to gain and nothing to lose and you got time to make a good album. . and whereas when you got this success you got like you got four weeks to get it out so, you kind of get. But people ask me, what advice I could give anybody.. if you are- and all I'll say is, if you are absolutely serious about what you are doing; write as much stuff as you can because once you start going out on the road, you never have enough time to do anything you know." Regret being a musician: 2:09 - 2:37 "No, not at all [pets dog]. It's been the best thing that's ever happened to me. You know when I when I was young I never- I never thought- I I often would think 'wonder what I'll be, will I be a fireman, a bricklayer, idk..'. Then I when I heard the Beetles it changed everything I wanted to be a Beetle. Black Sabbath thing, that's what you gotta consider, that's 45 years old. We just did a sell-out tour, we had our first ever one ever in the United States and [inaudible: but sounds like "all over the country"].. and it was just I mean, Wow!..." Do you like any new music: 2:40 - 4:57 "I like Bruno Mars I like.. s- snow patrol.. I like a couple of them. but it's like, the thing with new stuff, if I like it too much it gets in There so when I'm doing some work- doing some new music for me, [inaudible]. To Me, at my age, there ain't that much new music so- so old ideas are rehearsed.. but you know it's- it's another phase you know. Some of it I like; 70's were great because there wasn't no MTV and there wasn't that many.. bands around and in the 80's you/it ["struck a"?] "posch" it just went.. I mean it said to me: "what do you think is the stage of heavy metal?". Well from 70's, 80's, 90's and now the new millennium, it's completely different every, every decade. Completely. I think it's the computer age has taken over and it's a lot of chea- trickery you know... I mean, you you- I've actually people who sort of [ain't] got any bands and they go "do you wanna jam? - jam, what's that?""well, just playing together", they can't do it, so "I have to consult my computer first". . But it's, that's what's happened; the art of being in a band is Dying I think. I -I've had people at Ozzfest that go "man.. if it wasn't for Sabbath.. we owe you so much." and I've heard them and I go "What, part of that, is influenced by Sabbath?".. there are other music where I'm "oh I get it where they're coming from" but some of it I'm like "what?" but it, the thing about it, it doesn't -it's not the music it's the.. what it says to the people it's like... wh' - metal, or whatever you wanna you call it has never had any rules. We were from.. -I mean consider when we first started in the b -69', it was all flower power and you know, if you go to San Fransisco and wear a flower in your hair and all that... but we come from Birmingham, Aston in Birmingham where it's pollution and rain in a miserable climate and you're like "Fuck Off with this fucking bullshit". So we started to write scary music, that took on thank god." 5:07 - 5:38 "Well it's got the riffs, you gotta have something to play. But it's like, you tell me to not -if you want something to do, if you want me to do something, tell me not to 'cause I've never played by any rules, I have a -my, my soul concern is to get on that stage and give the audience a great day out. That's what.. all I am. I don't wanna get on and fucking ["ban Obama"?].. that's been done, you know? That's for other people. But for me, when I hit the stage, I wanna give them my heart on a plate and that's ["god's on his truth"?]." Edit: Finished translation.

Very true it is a drug on its own. Your brain releases dopamine from running or working out and also from taking heroin and crack cocaine. Alot of serial killers actually enjoyed a good long jog to release that dopamine. So anything along the lines of adrenaline junky is sure to do the same thing.
