I believe this is a bar on the the 5th fret of the D and G string to the 7th fret. And that little back and forth thing he does is from the 5th fret of the D to the 4th back and forth a few times. I can double check tomorrow for you because I was the same way I wanted to learn everything he does in Paranoid
