"Shot in the Dark" is a song recorded and performed by English heavy metal solo artist Ozzy Osbourne. It is the ninth and final track on his 1986 album The Ultimate Sin. A top-ten hit on mainstream rock radio, the song also became his first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 68. The official music video for the song was directed by Andy Morahan.

I really want to know about it too, but could never find anything good. This video inspired me a few years later to buy a '61 junior refinished white. Looking back, in the mid 80s it was an odd but excellent choice for a video. Jake seems pretty ballsy though, so we'll just let him be the amazing Jake E Lee any time he wants to be. Lol

Jake mostly used his Charvels live, but in an interview, Jake mentioned that he used the SG Jr. a lot in the studio. He had two, one white and one cherry. He later sold the cherry one. I've wanted a white SG Jr. ever first seeing this video in 1986. Epiphone recently released a limited edition signature model for some English punk rocker called Yungblud. Who? Exactly. It's sweet guitar.

On one of the tours, I think it might have been ozzy an randy( whom I privileged to see) , sharon had some crazy idea...and ozzy said " i can't go with that woman, there expecting " THE PRINCE OF FUCKING DARKNESS". well I LAUGHED my damn fool head off as I seen a tonof ol school concerts and ozzy knew to continue to follow with the screw ball mystique and I must concer he had it down. All part of " THE SHOW" as this cats no more EVIL than a FN girl scout selling cookies BIT it was all part of the show( live Vincent furnier alias Alice Cooper) and it just made me laugh because IF your GONNA come ACROSS as HARD n mabey EVIL Sharon's, ding bat idea just wouldn't fly..lol

I saw this tour. Ozzy's stage clothes and big hair were a bit much, but it was a great show. I saw Ozzy four times from 1982 to 1986, and he had a different bassist every time. That wasn't a concern as I spent most of the time watching Jake, or Brad in 1982.
