My dad played this song at my mom's funeral...and I played it at his. This song is very sentimental to me. To anyone out there going through a tough time, just know you'll get through it. I celebrate this song now. The Holidays will always be rough though, not much you can really do about that though. You just have to weather the storm, and hope to see them on the other side. My parents lie together now, carved in stone.

My dad passed away last night. The biggest Ozzy fan you’d ever meet. He always bragged about how he got to talk to the Ozzman on a radio show while on a payphone, standing out in the rain (he was a truck driver and was on the road at the time). I always knew one day I would be dedicating this song to him. That day is today. R.I.P. dad, I miss you so much. Thank you for everything.

I know the pain of losing someone you love so much. When I was 21 my boyfriend was killed while he was fishing on a bridge by a hit-and-run driver who was never brought to justice. It literally changed the rest of the course of my life. I was very overprotective with those I loved especially my children. I loved my father very deeply and I was always scared something would happen to him. And now I lost my dad a year ago people say you become whole again. I politely disagree because I'll never be whole again and to lose someone in a shocking way at such a young age does change the rest of your life. My heart goes out to all of you who have experienced the most painful loss ever.❤

@bennyssen5821 Жыл бұрын
Sorry for you loss. Chevy Nova and Ozzy/Sabbath will torment you in hell. Time to Wear a Miraculous Medal Miraculous Medal 5 The Miraculous Medal is a special medal design based on mystical visions of St. Catherine Labouré in the 19th century. It’s a popular devotional item and is associated with miracles and conversions. 1) I am being reminded daily to “listen to my Mother”. Almost 200 years ago Our Blessed Mother instructed Saint Catherine Laboure to “have a medal struck upon this model. Those who wear it will receive great graces, especially if they wear it around their neck.” Our Blessed Mother also told Catherine, “Now it must be given to the whole world and to every person.” For almost two hundred years this message has been available to us. 2) It’s Known as the “Miraculous Medal” for a Reason, and I Love a Miracle! When the medal first came into being, it was called the Medal of the Immaculate Conception. In less than ten years it became known as the Miraculous Medal because of the many graces and wonders that quickly became associated with wearing it. According to one source, between 1930 and 1950, more than 750,000 favors were granted and registered in just the city of Philadelphia alone. Our Blessed Mother wants us to ask her for prayers. Our Lord wants us to go to Him and tell him what is on our minds and in our hearts. Having this medal around our necks at all times is a constant reminder to pray. And as Mary promised, those who wear it will receive great graces. 3) Heroic Men and Women Have Worn It and Encouraged Others to Wear It Two particular individuals come to mind: St. Maximillian Kolbe and Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Before St. Maximillian courageously gave his life for another man, he started a movement and an organization, known in English as the Knights of the Immaculata. He made the Miraculous Medal the insignia of the group and had each member wear the medal. He said it was a “silver bullet” against evil. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, known for her charitable work throughout the world, called it a “medal of charity” and gave it out by the hand full. She said that the medal is a sign that God loves each and every individual at each and every moment of our lives. 4) It’s a Reminder to Ask for Help The images on the medal were designed by the Blessed Mother and spoken to St. Catherine Laboure. Our Blessed Mother said that the rays coming from some of her fingers demonstrate the graces God gives through her to those who ask and are open. There are some fingers where no rays are shown. Mary said that is to demonstrate the graces that are not given because they were not requested of her. Just another reminder of Matthew 7:7; “Ask and it shall be given to you”. 5) It’s a Symbol of What’s Most Important If signs and symbols are important for the lesser things, why not show my enthusiasm for the greatest blessing of all - faith in Our Lord and the love of our Mother.

Don't help when your family don't understand that I take death alot harder than alot of people. Most accept it as a part of life. Not me though, first death I experienced was my 2 year old brother when I was 8 years old. Seeing him in that little white casket really messed me up. Then 3 years later my uncle Marty died in a car crash. I was also in the car, he saved my life but his twin murdered my dad in 1987 as he blamed my dad for the accident.

Ozzy and Randy had a instant connection, when he joined the band, which created that bond, I do not believe that Randy sings, like by hisself on any of the songs. So I’m not sure where you came up with your comment. Yes I do agree that Randy could make that guitar 🎸 sing, but any good guitar player can do it too. I’m not talking bad about him at all, they brought out the best in each other. My sister was sad about hearing that awful news, I said calmly, our Lord needed a badass guitar player, so he took him home earlier than we would’ve thought. She said yes, that works.

My dad had a beautiful heart but went through a LOT as a kid and never quite recovered from it and was an addict until he got sober in 2019 even through all of that he raised me without my mom and always told me I could do anything and let me know I was loved even if our situation wasn't the best. He passed away a month ago. I played this at his funeral. Reminds me so much of him

The spirit world is real. When I was around 5 years old and my grandma was teaching me to kneel next to the bed and say a prayer before bed, she said, "God bless mom and dad, and grandma and grandpa." My grandpa had died from his third heart attack 10 years before I was born, so I said, "Grandma, why do I have to pray for grandpa if he's already dead?" She looked at me and said, "Because he can still hear you." I didn't understand what she meant until many years later, at her memorial service, when she finally joined him 32 years after his passing away, when I was thinking about the man's hand that I felt on my shoulder when I began walking to and from school by myself at 7 years old, and it happened for a year or two. I remember sitting with her in the nursing home when I was in my early 20's, and how I held her hand because it comforted her. She would reach over with her other hand and pat my hands, saying, "You have nice, big, strong hands, just like your grandfather!" I finally realized after she passed away, that the man's hand that I felt when I was a boy, was that of my grandfather, who was walking with me to keep me safe! Especially since I was almost kidnapped three times, and faced bullies on many occasions, but was never hurt physically!

There is a way although much involved and it will require no less than five journeys into the ancient shamintic awakenings in which you will be willing to surrender the ability to receive physical signals such as hunger and sleep. These steps will be as different as zozorre and debatith and the ancient teachings are as unchanged as the temple palace in Ballum. You first journey will be months of reaching as deeply into your spiritual self as it would to be in a state of mind that meditation and the vibrations of the electrical static in which you will be able to unchain yourself from shape or form. This will be your first step towards attending your own funeral. Your ability is now just a tiny ionic sprig that can be on the Dealphias Raiems portal to seperation and awareness.

Feel that!! This was the main era music I grew up in until Rap. Nate Dogg and Warren G opened up another side of music for me. But these are my roots.
@kevinharper28843 жыл бұрын
@@MrAce607 my roots are so opposing and other than I was exposed to young teenage parents that were just the right age to be summer of love Beatles, Three Dog Night, ect but by the time I was old enough to start being influenced or could able to have the this moves me or remember that this is more than music this is a spiritual or addictive vibe I'm feeling I had already at maybe 5-6 experienced a deeper inspiration from certain sounds voices sounds than my adult parents were ever able to understand. They unfortunately had made a house hold change to the early 70s country and western and on rear occasion I would hear something that would just hit that spot but most of the time I would think that stinks. I found a box in a coat closet and it was full of 45s immediately I was told not to drag those out there getting tossed. I saw one with Green Apples on it and a few with a dog with patches. I begged for a couple days swore to find a neat place in my room and would play them on my broke up wobbly third hand turn table. In that box was the most beautiful most moving the greatest voiced and some other songs that made me unable to keep from moving. I heard the perfect harmony and youthful energy of the Beatles and I thought if this is in a box why are they listening to Hee Haw stuff on the radio they must not like that goose bump feeling I get. Then after seriously a couple hours of two non stop Beatles I put another one on and imediately I thought I'm not going to like this. And after a couple chorus rounds of No you don't know me!!!! Bam like a gut punch I heard the first single voice that took that my breath felt like a hug from God and after two plays I still couldn't recall anything butthat smooth voice from heaven. I remember the ladys a little and when that voice came out that little speaker I couldn't tell you if it was guitar or piano violin just the rich from the soul voice of Ray Charles you don't know me. That is so different from those young guys and harmony It was kinda more like Hee Haw stuff but I never felt the pain and sadness from head to toe from a voice. Didn't really recall the words but no need his voice expressed sadness and pain I have no doubt it a sad song. By age 8 and being an abused child raised in fear alcoholism drug abuse and a almost daily physical beatings that consisted of my ninth baby tooth was the first one I got to pull the first eight were slapped out by one three tooth loss for eating to loudly and four were the result of being thrown into a refrigerator for getting in his way and one well just a bitch slap for not setting still enough during a hair cut to the ungodly documented events unheard of in today's world without intervention. My first hospitalization and life long physical scaring event consisted of 64 vivid belt shaped laserations several required a stitch or two three were so hard on a 7 year old stomach that they required a horseshoe shaped set of over 20 stitches. The one that did the most physical damage was a misfire and as the buckle came out of his hand he hit himself in the nuts only enraging him to keep swinging but the buckle first tore part of my ear away from my head the next broke a rib another put staples on my scalp and the last broke my eye socket left cheek bone dislodged my eye and tore my retina. I had been taken to their bed room and the door was locked. See I had done the ultimate sin. Mom purchased a hand held easy to use hair layering comb. Aka the scalping torture device. It was brutal as hell and God only knows I tried to be still and I begged to just have it cut but you ungrateful little bastard you get something special bought just so you can look nice and neat but you don't care about anyone else or what we have up at 16 just instead of thinking about how much better off our lives would be if we said suck his brains out and flush him. Its a goddamn shame we couldn't have known what a selfish bastard you would be. Crying and begging I'm sorry momma please nope I will let him know he will be here in about 15 minutes I bet he can cut that retarted alfalfa cowlick so you don't go to school looking like some inbred retard and that only makes me look bad. Please do it. My God I am 55 but I am a life long powerlifter bodybuilder I am old lol but 6'1 and still about 280 I've been in jail hell you name it but expressing the fear that 430 pm bought me for e thousand years from the age of 5 to about 15. And my old scared up been stabbed gang beat, been imprisoned had worked the doors or private security for some of the unfit for humanity places. And I set here shaking and I am soaked with perspiration and I 50 yrs later can still taste the fear in the air, I can still feel my gut draw up and the true to God prayers fot for you to please zap me kill me and please don't send me to hell God. I don't want to be so evil please God you know I ask every night to be able to be better. You know if I have a chance to choose I always want to do good. If it's a bad one God please just let it kill me but only if you don't put me in hell. I am now pissing every three or four minutes I have been throwing up all while mom says your so gd stupid and nasty puking won't help you. You see there were a few kinds of your ass Is mine things you could do. If I can hear you crunch chew or slurp you are going to hear your ass get slapped out in the floor. Your not a dog or horse I can't stand it and it won't happen at my table. There was the Pop most time a grown ass man bitch slap delivered to a skinny pail sickly little scared boy Now we get to better not happen. Do you know how hard how long and how many hours I have to work so you can have it fucking made. You live in a nice house ride in a nice car cover your ass in nice clothes. Unless the house is on fire or Jesus himself actually talks back to you im person and says I need you to go get your dad. If my mom or dad comes here and needs me your mom needs help an atomic Bomb alarm no we are dead I am tired. But by God almighty if you do flips and knock a lamp over, if you forget that with your head phones on you sing that screaming hippie shit and bang on the guitar. My sleep feeds you. But the one that was unwritten unspoken but dangerous even could be deadly. If I have to hear her fucking bitching mouth if I work 16 hrs and drive in half dead and get greeted by a bitching mouthy woman on my ass because you won't mind or act right I will stomp you into bone meal. I deeply apologize for the rambling but I am certain that I survived and was able to go a thousand miles away and hide inside the places, the emotions, and even could Take a trip back in time to a land of castles and wizards Robert and Jimmie with those so unique so powerful drums it all allowed me to close my eyes and I could actually believe I was able to imagine exactly what they were trying to express. Or Led Zeppelin could keep it real and to me say "Whole Lotta Love". It was beginning in theory and with more expression more pow in the 50s this Rock and Roll and Little Richard and Jerry Lee Chuck and Johnnie B, from the beginning It would make you want to move but nothing like dance. A power a vibration a stomp on the floor. But by the apex of Zeppelin to most it was clear hear is that perfect example of "Rock and Roll" true and pure. A Whole Lotta and that perfect combination of exactly what without over lapping of generals or awesome groups that had several different categories or styles. But the true no doubt Greatest Rock and Roll band of all time only my opinion is without a second thought Not band, not the most talented band that also played Rock and Roll not metal and hell not Pop. This is why I am alive. The only place I could go to escape if only in thought or through endless hours and hours a ten year old sears and roebuck yard sale guitar and trying so hard to make one more sound like Prince Song I found. Eventually it expand new sounds different styles. These Eagles are kinda country but damn they sure jam and they talent was to me so clearly heard from the angelic hormones and those timeless words. Now at fourteen or fifteen it would make me sick to be summons to the house. Hey Kevin I would know the routine. He has never once ask me to play him a song or ever really knew me and guitar had been coming along but now it just sucks to be put on display like his pride and joy they would tell him how rare it is to just have that kind of self taught guitar picking and singing. I felt like a in prostitute he was the pimp his ego boost the cost bullshit to me. Even once being dumb enough to ask if he wanted to hear this song I had been learning now I have it down Pat. He said why In the fuck would he want to set around on his rare day off and do that stupid shit. I said ok but I am not the house band or the center of attention to be brought out so you can tell them about me. I have something that you have no right to you didn't even know I played you tell them how a year or so ago I just picked it up and took off . That would make me the future greatest of all time I've put in hours and hours a day for ten years. I know you plan on my speaking up getting me a good one. Im almost sixteen and I'm sure I will get hurt but from today till you say leave or you wake up and I'm gone. You have to fight me to ever hit kick push. I will do what I am told I will not disrespect you but you won't hit me ever again unless you want to have to fight me

This song brings me such comfort, it completely portrays how we feel losing a loved one, how we don't want to say "goodbye" and that they know we are crying for them. But that message that we WILL see them on the other side and WILL be together again "carved in stone" is beautiful. My twin sister commited suicide just 2 months ago,i remember we listened to this song quite often as big Ozzy fans and one day she told me ''See you on the other side'' but i thought she meant this song,just one hour before i found her dead in her room.However this situation made me realize how mental ilness can be such a terrible thing so now i try to work with organizations which helps people get up and NEVER think about suicides.

My girlfriend lost her life in a car accident, and knowing that she was carrying our one-month-old baby in her womb was something that affected me a lot and that despite being a year into her loss is something that still affects me. Ariadna you will always live in my heart and I would have loved that our baby had been a girl and that she had your name and I would also have loved that our baby put her little feet on this earth, I miss you even after a year of your loss I still remember that Fateful day... I'll see you on the other side baby I love you.

[Lyrics] Voices, a thousand ,thousand voices whispering , the time pasted for choices, golden days are passing over, yeah I can’t seem to see you baby, Although my eyes are open wide But I know I’ll see you once more When I see you, I’ll see you on the other side Yes, I’ll see you on the other side, yeah Leaving I hate to see you cry Grieving I hate to say goodbye, dust and ash forever, yeah Though I know we must be parted, As sure as stars in the sky I’m gonna see when it comes to glory. And I’ll see you , I’ll see you on the other side, yeah Never thought I’d feel like this, Strange to be alone ,Yeah But we’ll be together, Carved in stone, carved in stone, carved in stone Hold me ,Hold me tight , I’m falling, Far away , distant voices calling I’m so cold, I need you darling, yeah I was down but now I’m flying, straight across the great divide I know your crying, but I’ll stop you crying, When I see you, I see you on the other side Yeah I’ll see you, I’ll see you on the other side God knows I’ll see you, see you on the other side, yeah, I’ll see you, I’ll see you on the other side, yeah, I’ll see you, I’ll see you on the other side, I’m gonna see you, see you on the other side, I’m gonna see you, see you on the other side, God knows I’ll see you see on the other side I’m gonna see you see you on the other side Enjoy and give likes thanks 😄

My husband passed on Saturday. He used to say all time when Ozzy passes he is going to be a religion. So when I asked my sister she picked this song to be played while she delivered his eulogy. Never really listened to actual word till she said what she had planned so I really listened, then I knew and cried because it sounded like my husband was talking to me threw Ozzy. My husband was a great Ozzy fan . Thank you Ozzy for your words to all your songs that give us not only stories, but the reality of life and heart. Love you always. We have been blessed by your our dark angel.

They played Ozzy at my grandpa's funeral.. I walk into the funeral home, and hear "momma I'm coming home" and it's jamming. And mind you, there's another funeral going on across the hall. I said this has got to be the right place. Enter the room and looks like a funeral for a mafioso, hahaha.. love you grandpa whitey, I'll see you on the other side
