When ozzy flipped his quad in 2003 I was 7 years old with a dad who loved to teach me ozzy songs on my guitar. I idolised ozzy and my dad could see how much I loved him so the day we found out about the accident I wanted to write ozzy a letter to send to his Beverly Hills house at the time, I wrote out a letter while in tears thinking my hero would of died by the time my letter got from England to the US. I wrote the letter and my mum and dad took me to a post box and we posted the letter I was buzzing went to school for the next 3 weeks when one day in the afternoon I was sat in my class when Mt mums head popped through the door to speak to the teacher, I was pulled out of class by my mum for a "dentist" appointment to which I was highly surprised as my mum never said anything prior. My mum lead me out of school and walked me home to the surprise of a big letter unopened from Beverly Hills.... my mum had already called my dad who was working at the time before she collected me and told him to get home ASAP as he's a massive ozzy fan too (which is where I got it from). So I opend up the letter which had my name on it which I told ozzy in my letter to him, I get 2 things from the letter one a signed picture and 2 a letter telling me he's OK and he appreciates fans my age at the time (7 years old) and that I need to keep positive stay in school (which I tried to refuse to do as I told him in the letter coz I was scared he'd die) keep rocking on and a couple personal things. To this day I have the signed picture and personal letter as my up most valuable possessions to myself if never part with them because they mean so much to me as does ozzy I've grew up from my childhood with a best friend I've never met ozzy is always in my ear and will be till the day I die! The king of metal the Prince of darkness the one and only ozzy Osborne forever my hero.
