Just got the HT setup again on my StratoSurfer last night. After watching Bonafide Pirates recent video I found the "trick" with iNav where you can use a 180deg servo but over drive it by adjusting the Servos page from 1000-200 to 800-2300, now I can look backwards a bit :) can't wait to fly it!

FPV video is only low resolution, looks crap full screen. That view is a closer representation of what you actually see in the goggles.

It's been around about as long as fpv. It's just not great on fast flying wings which is what most people fly fpv with on fixed wing that's why you don't see it a lot. Fatshark actually used to have head trackers in most their goggles, now I don't even think they make the head tracker unit anymore.

Possibly you could be the first person to put the new Dji Digital FPV on a plane with head tracking Andrew? I have been thinking about this for ages, except I dont have the cash lol. Ask Dji for a demo unit, everyone is talking about it and installing in quads when planes which would benefit the most and are forgotten about :(

@@AndrewNewton It's definitely the future, it must be terrible for a lot of people trying the new digital system and then going back to analogue. It would be like watching a HD DVD then watching it again on an old VHS tape 😁 Think I'll start selling my old RC stuff on eBay and try and raise some cash in time for the second generation 😁.
