What a terrific way to remember and memorialize Mr. Leeward and his gleaming Galloping Ghost. The engine in this plane has a very aggressive screaming sound, and the pilot absolutely flew the hell out of it. Thank you, Horst!

WOW, I think I have watched/listened to this video 100's of times and I will never tire of that sound! Has to be one of the best sounding RC planes ever! What a fantastic plane and a very fitting tribute to all those who were lost. Great job and beautiful plane, and hope to see the Ghost flying for many years to come.

That engine is beyond fantastic. It is true realism in miniature. Gone is the high pitched pop pop platter platter and in comes a model that brings realism to a level of a scale modelers dream. We have the Moki. Now we have the "in line" equivalent. Fabulous. I pray the model will not meet the same fate as its' full size sister.

What a power house. Enjoyed them tight close shots during them break turns. Exciting to see how the plane rolls in for a fly by. Like how little time is wasted for a landing by slipping the airship in like a bush pilot. :-))

Wow I am so impressed on the clean detail and the lights, landing gear and the sounds are amazing how it powers its way to the heavens then gracefully glides in to a dive. It's my understanding the Kolm 4 cylinder engine is designed that it's timing 270 degrees which makes the sound like it does.

@stan230 The plane were build from a stock P-51 with many modifications to get the look of the original Galloping Ghost. Owner and pilot is Otto Widlroither. At his homepage ☆★☆ exclusive-aircraft . com ☆★☆ you can find also a video about the making of this plane. btw. I'm only the video producer :)
