That's a cool idea. I think I would like the wristband to be a little wider just for looks really, but I guess you might start looking like an '80s Rock Star. It's great to have tools on the handy.

Refuse Reuse wider wristband wouldn’t be a bad idea. I was going for watch band size, I figured it would be the most comfortable. I’ll keep that open as an option for the beta prototype. Plus it’s modular, so the connection pallet can be moved from the thin to the wide band at preference. 😉

seems pretty stable even with the smaller band, even when he took the measurer off and on. Bedazzle it for more 80's look :)

I like it as a concept for sure, I'm wondering how much it would get in the way for those of us with Dainty wrists (heidi obviously) I'd love to see a voice over edit with your thought process on you decision making while you are working - that is always interesting to me when people create something like this - a utilitarian tool. Nice work, bud!

Slap Stuff Together When I originally shot this, it was meant to be self explanatory, so I opted for no voiceover (Diresta style) but I’m happy to talk about the process if you have any specific questions. There’s very little stress on the wrist, I think Heidi would be fine. If I ever mass produce these, we can get a consensus. 😉

That looks very handy! I'd probably manage to smack myself whenever it retracts. I have a habit of doing that... 🙄 I'll be interested to see what the beta version looks like!

The retraction is quick and easy, (nowhere to smack) I have been using it since last year and have yet to hit myself with it. Plus it's more fun than a regular tape measure. Something about letting it slid into your wrist is very satisfying. The Beta version will be much more refined and streamlined.

P. J. Galati I guess it's sort of like Spider-Man in reverse? You've got the measuring super power!
