What Alfred talk about here is the question of finality in life and choice that one makes . Frankly we have first know what is a true desire and this desire must be a important one that can gives us a direction in life so these values must not be a vague one or one that is just on the superficial level so . One must have been convinced profoundly in order to make changes . ! But there is one issue ....this does not address is the fact that in Asia country where things are ordered to certain values and ‘rules ‘ our youth no longer have aspirations because they are confined by the rules or law . To libérâtes themselves from these unspoken rules before they can truest evolve to acknowledge their true desire is a painful process and it takes years so this part of life searching did not happened in my case till I went overseas to stay for a few years . It become clear to me that I start to dare to wish and acknowledge my true desire ... but for all the experience I saw how in Europe their youth has not this burden as we Asians has because of their education and culture . This 2 extremes will need to be adjusted and corrected still that is provided if one truest search it . Aristotle also talk about finality in his time ....
