Today most of the interviews are like just chit-chat with directors and actors without considering the value and depth of cinema as an artform.The questions of the anchor and more than that the way of interaction that he deployed is well formulated. Duration of the interview is not at all felt as a prolonging one rather it feels as a needed time and space for the interviewee to open up. LJ is an experienced,good and humble director. 'Maravathur kanavu' really deserves appreciation. That doesn't mean that a movie like 'Chandupottu" can be approved. Lal Jose is using the body of 'Radhakrishnan' to produce jokes. Radha's body language is just a tòol for making others laugh. People who have watched this movie is still using such men's body to crack the same jokes, same offending jokes to body shame the 'Radhas' arround us. LJ should take the responsibility of this problem his movie brings in. Please don't tell that Chandupottu movie brings the issue of such people in to light. It's better to have no representation than a misrepresentation or a vicious representation.

'ചാന്തുപൊട്ട്' എന്ന കളിയാക്കി വിളി കേട്ട് പല രാത്രികളിലും തലയിണ കണ്ണീരൊപ്പാനായി ഉപയോഗിച്ച പാവം കുറെ പച്ച മനുഷ്യരുടെ വേദന... പരിഹാസം താങ്ങാൻ വയ്യാതെ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തവർ, ചെയ്യാൻ മുതിർന്നവർ... സിനിമ ഇറങ്ങി ഇത്രയും നാളായിട്ടും താങ്കളെ പോലെ വല്യ നിലയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഒരാൾക്കിത് മനസിലാക്കാൻ ഉള്ള ബുദ്ധി വൈഭവം പോലും ഇല്ലാതായി പോയല്ലോ എന്നുള്ള പുച്ഛം മാത്രം. താങ്കളോ ചെയ്ത തെറ്റിന് മാപ്പ് പറയുന്നില്ല, താങ്കളുടെ മേഖലയിൽ ബോധം ഉള്ള ഒരു പെണ്ണ് വേദനിച്ചവരോട് കുറ്റമേറ്റ് മാപ്പ് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അത് 'ഭോഷ്ക്'. എന്നെങ്കിലും എപ്പോളെങ്കിലും എല്ലാ മനുഷ്യരെയും ഒന്നായി കാണുന്ന ഒരു ദിവസം താങ്കൾക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെയെന്നും അന്ന് ചെയ്ത തെറ്റിനു മനസ്താപം ഉണ്ടാവട്ടെയെന്നും ആത്മാർത്ഥമായി പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

To the interviewer , at-least do you homework on what Transgenderism is. Why did you even accept his lame-ass explanation that "feminine behaviour" was his problem and that the fact that he could procreate and express his sexuality, he somehow is not a Transgender person? Have you even heard of what intersex is? The movie doesn't even clarify what he is. To me it seemed - they were trying to say that , the protagonist is a man who went through a "phase" and he had to do what every so called man has to do to prove his masculinity - Knock-up a girl, do errands that a man is supposed to do as a fisherman. And that somehow made him normal. Own up, man. You tried to tackle a subject you obviously have no idea about. You couldn't even be bothered to ask the LGBTQ+ make up artists who work in the industry. That movie was a shame, there is no sugar-coating that.

" ഈ വരികളിൽ ചാന്തുപൊട്ട് എത്ര സുന്ദരമായ വാക്കാണ്. അതായത് ഏതൊന്നും നല്ലതും ചീത്തയും ആക്കുന്നത് നമ്മുടെ/സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ വീക്ഷണമാണ്. ഒമ്പത്, ശിഖണ്ഡി, ***,*****, തുടങ്ങി അനേകം പേരുകൾ ഇക്കൂട്ടർക്ക് കൊടുത്തത് നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹം തന്നെയാണ്. ചാന്തുപൊട്ട് എന്നപേര് അനേകം പേരുകളിൽ ഒരു തുടർച്ച മാത്രം . ഒന്നാലോചിച്ചുനോക്കു ഇവടെ കുറ്റക്കാരൻ സംവിധായകൻ ആകുന്നതെങ്ങനെ കുറ്റക്കാർ ഞാനും നിങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെട്ട ഈസമൂഹമല്ലെ.

താങ്കൾക്ക് തെറ്റി.. ഈ film ന്റെ discussions ഒക്കെ അന്ന് tv യിൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ ദിലീപ് അടക്കം ഉള്ളവർ details പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.. അവർ doctor മാരുമായി discuss ചെയ്തിട്ട് തന്നെയാണ് film എടുത്തത്..രണ്ട് രീതിയിൽ sthrainatha വരാം.. ഒന്ന് ഈ film ലെ പോലെ വളർത്തു ദോഷം കൊണ്ടും പിന്നെ ഒന്ന് ഹോർമോൺ problem കൊണ്ടും.. അത് വേറെ തന്നെ problem ആണ്.. അതിനെ പറ്റിയല്ല.. വളർത്തു ദൂഷ്യം കൊണ്ട് sthrainatha വന്ന രാധയുടെ കഥയാണ് ഇതെന്ന് അന്നേ അണിയറക്കാർ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.. ഞാൻ ആ interviews കണ്ട ആളുമാണ്.. ഈ film ൽ രാധയെ ആൺകുട്ടി ആയാണ് കാണിക്കുന്നതും.. ഇത്തരം ആൾക്കാരെയും അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നതായാണ് film ഉം പറയുന്നത്.. അതിൽ ഒരു സ്ഥലത്ത് പോലും രാധയെ ചാന്തുപൊട്ടെന്ന് വിളിച്ചു കളിയാക്കുന്നില്ല..രാധയെ Film ഇറങ്ങിയ ശേഷം ഞാനും താനും അടക്കമുള്ള ജനങ്ങൾ അല്ലെ ചാന്തുപൊട്ട് എന്ന് വിളിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത്.. ഇത്തരക്കാരെ താങ്കൾ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തത് കൊണ്ടാണ്..
