P0102 GM Mass Air Flow test, 3800 (3400, any other 3 wire sensor test) MAF

Testing a 3 wire GM mass air flow sensor - before replacing it based on the P0102, test to confirm the wiring integrity is good (the power and ground, as well as the computer and signal wire). In this case we confirmed 100% the sensor is bad, although the customer elected not to replace at this time.

Thank you for this brother! I have a 97' Firebird V6 3.8 and my OBD2 reader came up with 'P0102' Mass Airflow Sensor Circuit "A" Low. I'm assuming that means the A wire has a fault somewhere or needs to be replaced? Perhaps it's the fuse? What do you suppose? I installed a new MAS but the code is still coming up. Thanks man!

I backed probed my MAF and at idle it’s at 2.2 and doesn’t change at rpms it stays at 2,2 is it bad I have a bad misfire po 300 code

I have the same MAF sensor result. Easy auto diagnostics is telling me I need to measure signal frequency, not voltage, for this MAF sensor. Maybe the creator of this video could comment and help us understand? I only have a multimeter.
