Why not just replace the boost sensor first. Boost should be reading zero at idle. What was it reading key on engine off?. It could also be the sensor wiring or pigtail. It’s easy to troubleshoot the signal with a meter, just like the MAF sensor.

True but not everyone knows what to look for or knows how to test using advanced tools so I was just showing some options of what is common and could cause this code to hopefully help someone save some money before they take it to a mechanic.

I’m bout to cut my ebp tube. Bolt is married to manifold. A wrench won’t touch it. I’m wondering if you ever cut one to slide a socket on?

Sometimes they can be a pain. I have cut some but the tube will need to be replaced so I try to avoid that as much as possible. A line wrench style crows foot usually works best. May have to put some heat on it and give it a little tap with a hammer to try and break the rust loose.
