Vident iLink400 $160. I used it for my 2007 GMC Sierra to do a CKP relearn and it worked flawlessly. Each scanner comes with a specific manufacturer installed on it, such as GM, Honda/Acura, etc. but you can download additional manufacturers software, via their computer program, for $60 a pop. It’s a great choice for people looking to use it for a single manufacturer. It does almost everything an Autel $2,000 scanner does at least than 1/10th the price. It is bidirectional and can perform specific tests. I.E. individual door locks, EVAP purge solenoids, fan relays, interior lighting dimming, and the list goes on and on.

It does not look like this unit is capable of doing the cam and crank relearn? I also did not see anything for it to flash your vehicle computer? I watched the other videos on the vident ilink 400 and you can code injectors and relearn the throttle body, but nothing about a cam and crank relearn.

I had a remanufactured engine installed about 5 thousand miles ago, with the original harmonic balancer/crankcase sensor reinstalled. I've since had issues with the car failing to start, sometimes taking multiple tries before it finally starts. I also idles rough, and RPMs sometimes fluctuate. I'm pretty sure they didn't perform a CKP relearn. I'm also thinking it may have a failing CKP sensor. I didn't know about this until I came across this video.

just fixed mine,I bought a autel MP808 for $599 on Black Friday for my 2009 accord, now $750. I did a ckp clear and ckp re learn and car runs great. All miss fires gone I cleared all codes and didn’t replace one part. Going to drive for alittle to see if it comes back if so I’m replacing aftermarket starter with OEM.

@@kanbou9904 yes mine did, come back, and I relearned ckp sensor again and it fixed it again. I am swapping out starter with a Honda OEM one and I’m 1/2 done, I also swapped out my crankshaft sensor because I live next to a junk yard I got for 5 bucks. Will keep posted.

would this work on a Ford Focus mk2 2006, 1.8 tdci (diesel) 85kw. The CKP has been changed and Engine Systems Fault is always present on the dashboard (even after DTC clearing). The DTC is P0337

2,000 is cheap, cheaper than snapon 12k scanners plus using there updates cost about 4,000 a year to update. Customers complain why its so expensive to fix there cars. They really have no clue how expensive diagnostic equipment is and tools.

Snap on is the only company that doesn’t charge you yearly and force you to get the updates. These updates are for the latest model vehicles, and if you don’t subscribe no harm done. With a Bosch or any other company you have to pay 1500 usd every year or it turns into a shitty ob2 scanner.

For all the people who complaining this scanner isn’t cheap at $2000 check into some of the others. Sure you can get an obdII scanner for $20 but this is way way more than that. A comparable snap on diagnostic scanner such as this is over $15,000 so yeah $2000 is cheap

You don't need to spend thousands go on eBay and get a vident ilink 400 it's comes with first software free i picked gm which also covers Isuzu and Daewoo also comes with 3 years of updates for free and software you can have 5 on the scanner at once and they are 60 a piece all for 158$ you name it the scanner can do it can do everything a tech 2 scan tool cando and is new I been using mine and is great it's a bidirectional scanner also displays graphs and you can overlap the graphs to compare it's great

Hent Be Greater Than Great I got the vident ilink 400 full system scan tool in telling you it's awesome 158$ and it's no cheap scanner it can do anything a dealer level scanner can do for an extra 10$ they will download your first software free and all the updates are free for 3 years but its easy to download it comes with instructions so if you have a computer and get one save your 10$
