In the diagrams shown i see it says FOCUS CAU 2004-2011 are you in canada making this repair? I believe the US model of the same year may have a different assembly altogether.

Hi Brian, is there a way to test the sensor? I have P0451 and P1450 at the same time. The combination seems to point to a damaged FTP. Given the cost and pain it is to replace, I'd rather test it first. Everything I can find requires pulling vacuum on the sensor inlet...but it seems to be on a t-junction.

Silicone inside the connector as well, will mean next time it comes off. Amazing just how clean that Focus is underneath, you must have dry roads, because here they all will be caked up thick underneath, and rusted all over. Done the power steering hose replacement on it yet, they all have a recall for the power steering hoses bursting and causing an engine fire. hose that blows sprays right onto the exhaust, and because the BCM locks the doors automatically, the doors do not unlock when power goes from burnt wiring, and when locked you cannot unlock manually from inside. ford Kuga has had a couple of deaths from that, shades of the Pinto again.

Thanks for the heads up on that! Utah has the market to be in for amazing salt. We have a red road salt (Red Jurasic Sea Salt from when the sea covered the state that's mined here that is good down to 15F and doesn't rust your stuff as bad. That's mixed with the white stuff we sell to everyone else.

Hi Bryon I was hoping maybe you could help me. I have an 04 avalanche. I got a code for BANK 1 02 sensor below threshold. Now it’s doing this. when it gets really hot I lose all of my hydraulics in the brakes and a boggs down and starts to smoke. Also noticed that when I turn the AC on it sets off more severe symptoms. And he gets so bad to where I’m not able to even drive it until I let it cool down enough that it’s fine. As long as I don’t rev. I’m thinking clogged cats. Causing me to lose vacuum pressure. Maybe why I am losing my brakes? Intake pressure is only 7psi when running. I will provide a link to my live data on my scanner. I recorded you can see the fuel trims and my O2 sensors and the PSI in my intake pressure would really appreciate if you can point me towards your direction on how or if I’m on the right track as far as clogged cats. Please please help thank you. I have no problem paying or donating to your channel if that’s what it takes. I am mechanically inclined. I think the I rings being old need to be replaced after disconnecting. Replace them or the lines. No leaks has to be them leaking vapors.
