Thank you for the video. I don't have any major issues during shifting. There was an instance, when the transmission was shifting poorly in a cold morning. After such incident, I warm the car for about 10 minutes before leaving my domicile. I have been running the transmission with Amsoil Signature Series transmission fluid. The current mileage of the vehicle is a little over 340,000 miles.

My honda accord 6gen has the code "p0780 (shift malfunction)" the dual linear selenoid I have installed is an aftermarket one becausei broke one of the sensors to the oem one. afternarket parts are always a bad idea to have. I'm buying an oem dual linear very soon. I hope it will help like this video helped you

I have a hard shift between 1st and 2nd, but my car is an 01 V6 J30A1. I actually have to let off during the shift and keep slight throttle and it'll shift. After that all other gears function properly.

The real question is, did it actually solve the problem? I would suggest that when you test for actuation it would be helpful to monitor the current flow. It wasn't clear from your video that the failures were not due to bad contact with your wiring. If you get good current flow and no actuation, then you know you have a sticking (or failure) problem. You might also be able to clean them out with brake or carb cleaner if they're just sticky from history of poor trans. fluid change. Just be careful what solvents you get on anything rubber or plastic. That said, it may not be worth getting that far into it and not replacing it with a known good part.

i have a 01 odyssey with p0780 code, was told trans needs rebuilt..what happens is if we are like stuck in traffic for instance and it tries to shift from 1st to 2nd sometimes the d4 light flashes and dosent want to go...but if we turn the van off and restart it d4 stops flashing and it drives normally..check engine light on and tcs light on only when D4 flashes

And DTS code with some scanner is P0700 and with other scanner are P0780. What should i do? Because the ccar still OK when engine HOT. 200km/Hour is easy to get. Thanks

This is a waste of time. You probably need one of the pressure switches. Cleaning Honda solenoids never fixes anything.

If the screens are clogged that means the clutches are worn. That's what that black substance is. Honda autos are basically setup like a manual but it's shifted by shift solenoids. These here are the dual linear and the tcc solenoid which controls lockup in the converter
