I’m wondering, how the p1-m compares to the new nektar cs12? There’s seems to be a lot of hype for the cs12 but I see the p1-m way better! Not to mention I can pair it also with other DAWs aside from Logic.

Can the P1-X be used as a standalone DAW mixer?

Yes, it can! However, the P1-X is designed as an extender for the P1-M, so there is no transport, no touchscreen and no bank buttons. Therefore it can be a bit cumbersome and you have fewer features than the P1-M. But if all you need is faders, knobs and buttons, it might work for you.

Hello I have a problem. I just received my P1-M yesterday and I think it's great, BUT, the VU meter LEDs... They move and everything but when I press STOP, the first two LEDs or the first one are still on. Why is this happening?... I use it with logic pro x on a mac air M1 2020. Thanks.

ICON. Please do a better job on your presentations. The current presentations are a disservice to the quality of your product and to customers who buy your products. You need content that does a indepth walk through of the gear. It's unwise to leave people guessing and trying to figure things out. Invest in proper presentations and be honest about the limitations up front. Customers will appreciate that.
