Same, I didn't want to give these up and also didn't want to give up $1,500 for new ones. It was definitely worth the work to get these looking brand new again (other than the dang chrome finish wiping off, lol)

You said these aren’t “meant for GOLF R but are the tabs for a GTI or what are they necessarily for

@@blakekranovich4363 these are “for” cars with the lower level headlights that don’t swivel when you are turning but the only difference I could find were the tabs I easily trimmed off.
