In my opinion, respectfully disagree with Umers view. It's true that technology is revolutionizing and all area see an impact of the changes, schooling too. It doesn't mean that the age of schooling is coming to an end(True that earth also will end one day). Fundamentally the schooling methods are changing, here the pace is slow. One thing Umer is good at is he well explains how to make use of technology, and not how to build those technologies. For that one need fundamental knowledge which one can build through schooling. Eg. For the one who works into the core of machine learning algorithms, can definitely relate the use of calculus and maths which he might have studied during his schooling times. In my opinion Schooling is required but agree that we need to integrate the technologies inorder to make effective schooling.
