Hey Allie, That first buck that you woke from a nap, was a nice one. Now you know that's the area he is looking for his does. I'm sure he'll be back and if he comes out when your there, meat on the table. Then it's field dress, butcher, then my best part, COOKING. Hope you have another video out soon. Can't wait for that lovely smile you get when your arrow finds it mark. Good luck and be safe.

Great video! Hunting the rut, you just never know where they'll be. Even though you didn't see anything, before you said it I was thinking that was a nice set up. I missed whitetail hunting last year, but I won't miss it this year. I'm getting fired up for it already! 😁

When you grunt and the buck goes away I have had them circle around to down wind to check the grunt out. Sometimes that takes 15 to 20 minutes for the buck to circle the grunt call.

Great footage. I have grunted in sight before, and they came up to my blind. Sometimes they did spook though. Usually, the younger ones would do it more. I enjoyed the video. Did you grab some more chicken of the woods on the way out? You always come out with something.

@@OutdoorsAllie it's alright, just makes me miss Fall, football, deer, etc... Well, football as far as my KY Wildcats. Steelers ended better but no more Big Ben. I have been blessed to see both legends play for the Steelers, Bradshaw and Ben. But I live in South Central KY where all the Bengal fans are driving me crazy! I can't believe it, the Bungals are going to the Super Bowl. Oh Well, come on Spring Turkey Season. God Bless.

Why I depend on binoculars so much while hunting! The human eye tends to blend everything together, & the focus of the binoculars, allows you to separate things from the foreground & background, due to the focus points at a given distance. As I get older, it gets even worse. Now hearing impared in my left ear, never clearing after a cold, direction of sound is now difficult to impossible, once able to hear a toad crawling through the fall leaves, at 20 yards, it's a big loss.

Why the face paint? You are hunting from an elevated stand.

I don't like covering my face with a gaiter, so I use face paint to conceal.

Hi Allie.. Another great video..Nice to see you and Nick enjoy our favorite sport . This section is set aside for your followers with comments if applicable. I have a tendency to expound my thoughts always in a positive direction and in this platform best interest. So always accept what I have to say as it’s my opinion please.. With this being said a brief thought about your headlamp going to your stand in the dark a.m… I wear RED because…. Blue light is the absolute worst for stealth (other than white) Red is by far the best. Green is made to be seen by other hunters, but deer can see it too. Red is the hardest wavelength for deer to see. Check it out .. When you have a moment check out Howard Hill, Ann Weber Hoyt , & Ann Marston .. I have shot With all three and the only person I couldn’t shoot better than was Howard.. Congratulations to you and Nick on 100k subscribers. 🤞 I hope I’m here when you reach 200k !! Oh !! Never use blue vanes .Your arrows are in your compound bow quiver and function like a homing beacon to the 🦌 deer ..
