My take on this is not really his inner demons but the true strong personality. He locked himself because of the judgemental and unfair world. He was afraid of what he can do that might be seen as taboo. So unless he thinks he is strong enough, he won't unleash the beast in himself. But now, he is ready. That's why at the end, he unlocked the chains. The beast have unleased, the Alpha Wolf, the real Pablo have arrived.

LOCKDOWN DEPRESSION. Due to the Pandemic, many people (places) here in the Philippines are in LOCKDOWN like prisoners in their own homes (example: Senior citizens and minors). Others have locked themselves up for fear of getting infected with Covid-19. Many have become depressed and others wondered whether it will be safe or not to go outside. This plague is driving us crazy and I hope that this will end soon. I think Pablo has a wonderful message about what is happening in our world today.

There are 2 personalities here - one who was chained by his fears, worries, depression, world judegment for so many years; and the alpha who broke free and unleashed the beast in him. The alpha version is unafraid and ready to devour anyone who goes in the way. In a sense, the song is inspiring us to break free from what chains us and unleash the beast in us - be an alpha taking control of your life. I call this a lyrical rap with storytelling and theatrical acting. He is really a genius. He is my only bias and I am so proud of him :)

My interpretation of this song is that: the shackles represents limiting paradigm that has been fed to us from childhood to adulthood that we came to believe as truth. These are beliefs that has been passed down to us by our parents, teachers, friends, the community and society itself. These are limiting beliefs about anything that prevents us from achieving our dreams. Pablo said about giving away the keys. We imprisoned ourselves by believing others about our insecurities. We give away our power. In this scene he is conflicted to stay within his comfort zone or challenge the paradigm. Pablo is an amazing poet.
