This is a great video. Do you guys use the bass knob with PAC unit or do you prefer to use the one for the amp itself?

Depends on the application. If the amplifier's bass knob has a clipping indicator on it, we will use that one. If not, we use the Pac one since it's small. They're doing the same thing, so one isn't better than the other.

My 21 1500 rebel audio is distorted on my front driver door and passenger dash speakers for no reason can the pac remedy this problem

If you're adding amps and speakers, then yes, it will work great. If you're not changing anything else out, it won't have any effect on the factory sound system.

Would the new ap4-ch42 be the one i need for a 2023 Durango with alpine system with subwoofer (10 speakers)

It should be, yes. The 42 has the two plugs at the radio that Mopar switched over to in 2021-22, but they didn't do it straight across the board. We have seen 2023s with the single large plug. I would recommend pulling the radio and double checking before ordering any parts for it.

Those RCA cables? Are they coming from the back of the truck? And are they coming from the amplifier

The RCAs will go from behind the radio to wherever you have your amplifier mounted. In this case, yes, we're running it from behind the radio to behind the back seat.

The installation of the AP4 is the same and the principal idea is the same, except that it if front, rear and subwoofer instead of just subwoofer outputs.

How do you program it ? Cycle the key two different times so it recognizes it ? I think that’s what I’ve read 🤔

The manual walks you through it, but for the most part it is just plugging it in and letting the truck learn it when it falls asleep.
