Pac-Man Championship Edition (NES) - (All Achievements | All Skins | Longplay)

Another run pac-man run again folks, this time it's a cool demake of Championship Edition! A friend at discord recommended it to me and I don't regret it. CE takes the original concept of Pac-Man and emphasizes more on speed and getting a high score.
The original is rather hard since power pellet's length shortens whenever move on to another level. Once you reach the keys and gather more the power pellets are practically useless now and it boils down to memorizing how the AI moves.
CE takes the same formula but rather than dodging the ghosts all the time you can keep eating them as much as you like to rake up more points, just don't get greedy as the ghost's speed are also in par with Pac-Man's! The power pellets play a huge role now in CE as they buy you time to eat the remaining pellets which unlocks a new area of the maze.
If you find the original addicting and want it to be faster, then Championship edition is for you.

What about a rom that plays the game for you, so you don't have to enjoy it

@@customsongmaker na, just an unlocked version. Would be more enjoyable to just see a complete game without being behind achievement unlocks, etc. Ya know, like how games used to be.

@@morsteen in the original Super Mario Bros, you can select which world to start in. But only after you complete the game. It's an extra feature that is unlocked when you achieve the end of the game. In Super Mario Bros 2, there's a big animated cutscene at the end of the game. But you can't watch it unless you beat the game. It's a feature you get to see as a reward for achieving the end of the game. In Super Mario Bros 3, you can get your entire inventory full of P-wings and have fun flying through every level. But only after you beat the game. It's unlocked by your achievement. Then there were NES games with multiple endings, with your achievements during the game determining which ending is unlocked for you to see. Maniac Mansion, Castlevania 3, Duck Tales, and countless games since then. Then there are the games with a New Game Plus mode or Game Clear mode. Sadly, you have to accomplish the achievement of beating the game before you can unlock these features.

@@customsongmaker hmmmm,...you raise some very valid points. But i still want all the skins unlocked! lol

@@morsteen I just got it on Switch yesterday and got all the achievements. There is only 1 skin that unlocks. If you have the original game, one of the skins is Rally X racecars. Even though the game plays exactly the same, it's pretty weird playing a racecar instead of Pac-Man.
