i know that pacey's insecurities when it came to dawson got in the way a lot but honestly some of it was justified. she went back to dawson every time, she literally kissed him as soon as pacey left at the end of season 4. i can see where pacey was coming from, even though his insecurities frustrated me sometimes.

It just took her a long time to figure out how she really felt about Dawson. She had to realize she wasn’t in love with Dawson she just loved him as a friend. Dawson got into her head and manipulated her for years and so he couldn’t really be with pacey without feeling like she was doing something wrong to Dawson but pace thought it was bc she was going to realize she didn’t love him and actually loved Dawson. Plus Dawson put that into Paceys head. He always made sure pacey thought he could never compete. Once they grew up tho she finally was able to distinguish the difference between loving somebody and being In love with somebody and by doing that she was able to finally let Dawson go in a romantic way and fully be with pacey without those thoughts in the back of her head so while paceys insecurities and Joey always thinking about Dawson really pissed me off I was also able to understand it. I think the one thing I wish I could have seen from the show was them together without fighting over Dawson. I also just had to remember they were teenagers when they were first together. I hated season 5 bc they acted like Joey and pacey weren’t just in love with each other. I wish they could redo that season so bad. I do appreciate the subtle jealousy from pacey tho at the very least.

Pacey and Dawson had problems before he and Joey got together. For Joey, Dawson represented her childhood . Pacey represents her growing up. Joey had problems with change. She had deep abandonment issues. So whenever things got scary, she went back to Dawson. Pacey leaving her added to her issues. It's why she had problems completely committing to her relationships.

you dont know what you talking about the story was written SHE was in love with DAWSON she was alwasy in love with dawson but was always running. you just making stuff up. dawson never manipulate her, THAT was pacey all season 4 and the last part of season 3.

The lyrics "you kept me like a secret and i kept you like an oath" is one of the few lyrics i think it looks like them. Really them,not just some generic relationship stuff. It's so fourth season after they had sex and Joey didn't want anyone(Dawson) to know. When Pacey was just happy about what happened and really keeping her like an oath to his heart,she was just keeping him as a secret as if she had done something wrong. I understand that she didn't wanna hurt Dawson but...she was way too much. I feel really bad for Pacey during those episodes.

This is great! Love the Joey Pacey love!! They laugh, play and have fun, as their love is deep and lasting through the years. She didn't bake him a birthday cake, but she did get him a cupcake! True love! The way he looks at her, talks to her, holds her...you can see and feel he really loves her. The love and the caring are very familiar to me. I've known this love for 40 yrs.

I understand people using this song for fictional couples. I get it.I Really do. I just think that the song doesn't fit every couple and definitely doesn't fit Pacey and Joey. The song is not about a normal/good relationship,is about a bad relationship,Taylor here is describing how Jake was abusive with her emotions and with the relationship in general. There was some good songs in Red that talked about the good parts of their affair,and even some phrases in All too well. But the song in general is not happy and she is always calling him off,telling that in her perspective he wasn't the best of the boyfriends and how much she was stressed and frustrated throughout the relationship and dispite some things in Pacey and Joey story they were the most romantic/amazing/sweetest couples ever! Most of the times their story wasn't complicated and bad and except the fourth season(where you could say it had some potention to an abusive relationship) it never was,because of how much they loved each other and how much they cared for each other. Besides,Pacey was and still is the best boyfriend the TV ever made,phrases like "you never called it what it was" or "you kept me like a secret but i kept you like an oath" every new phrase on the 10th version i would say are really not accurate. It's very wrong to treat Pacey like these kind of guys when in the most of the show he was the sweetest/most romantic and caring guy ever,especially with Joey. Again,i get where this comes from and the videos are really nice...i. just don't think it should apply to all couples...especially this one.

Was just going to post a similar sentiment. The theme of Taylor's song really doesn't fit Joey and Pacey, especially when you consider that the extend version is about her reflections looking back. In Dawson's Creek Joey and Pacey they come back together after time. The song might apply better to Joey and Dawson instead.

He never stopped with that ever since he had fallen for her, things really changed!!! She has never loved one as much as she always loved him, and same is for him, the both surprised each other of how much they loved each other!!! What she had with him was more real than she had with Dawson, it was more real love with Pacey than Dawson!!!!!
