My friend and I were in the same area in June, hiking to the top of Mt. Lassen and hiking the trails around Burney Falls. I think the coolest things about Burney Falls was all of the water coming right out of the side of the rock face. Pretty intense.

wow just finished your AT then watched all the PCT... amazing .. thanks for letting us come along..i'm sad there are no more trails videoed! your videos were extremely addicting and engaging. thanks for the extra work it took to bring your adventure to all of us...any recommendations on some of your thru hiker buddies youtube channels ? ( I need more lol)also I saw you are taking a break and can understand that. hope someday you do some shorter trails ( by your standards) like the Ozark trail or the Ozark highland trail. Both are close to me as I live in Texas and can only afford to take off work about 2 weeks at a time... the AT is added to my bucket list now after watching your AT series ... it may be in 2 week sections but its going to get done.thanks for all those you have inspired.JD

Great video. The hat creek rim is pretty desolate and the conditions are harsh...wonder why they continued the trail through there when they could have it gonna through the thousand lakes wilderness just 5 miles away with awesome views and plenty of water. Most locals avoid that area and take the thousand lake wilderness bypass to Burney.

wow, those are beautiful falls. i think you'll be in for a treat in OR. from what I recall, there are some falls that you walk behind. looking forward to seeing you do the only stretch that i've done, in my neck of the woods. the first 50 nobo from cascade locks.
