Well that hit the spot! I'm so glad they renovated the Short Circuit house and put it on AirBNB. 2023 we'll be flying back to the US and Astoria needs to be on the places I must visit.😎 Thanks again Nick!

Short Circuit? I must have been asleep. Never heard of it. But a beautiful house with a wonderful view.

I love this! I wish you could see the house now. I got the spiral staircase, and Victorian gables done. I also have a little action figure musuem in the room above the porch. Great work! Johnny5 is Alive!

@@NickP sweet. I think what did it was the suddenness in which it happened.
@NickP2 жыл бұрын
@@joshuabrooks4907 Yeah, that was a tough scene. The movies from the 70s-90s were made so much better than current movies. From the characters to the stories to the emotions they would provoke in audiences to the editing and beyond…. Made with care.. These days you get one here and there but that’s about it lol.

Beautiful locations. How cool would it be to stay in the Short Circuit house, Astoria definitely on my must visit list if I ever make it state side. How could they not have a wind chime on The Hand that Rocks the Cradle house haha. Great work on these comparisons once again

Not to take anything away from the solid work you’ve put into this and I’m to assume your other videos BUT……I’m not sure where you’re from but California is definitely not part of the Pacific Northwest, my guy. With that said, I’m looking forward to checking out your other videos. 🍻 Side note: Seattle is such an amazing city. You were there and the weather gods rewarded you for it. Always a bonus!!!!
@NickP Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! Seattle, Oregon and northern Cal were amazing! It seems like there’s a few different interpretations of pac nw, but no worries. Thanks again

I recently went to see the Goonies House. When I discovered it was closed for tourists, I respectively left and parked halfway down the hill to check my maps. There was a makeshift wooden 'no stopping' sign and a local screamed at me to GTFO out. I needed only one minute to check my map and carry on. So much for peace, love, and understanding!

As always, great job brother! I especially liked the Stadium High School location. I was out that way several years ago but didn’t get a chance to fit that stop in. Talk about a picturesque stadium location for any level, let alone a high school. I want to to simply visit that school and stadium for the location and sights alone. The first time I saw that movie and saw that stadium and school, I was like “man, where is that?!” Great stuff.
