PACIFIC OCEAN CROSSING: Just The Two Of Us - Sailing L’Attitude - Ep 35

This is it. This is the biggest ocean crossing we have ever done and we have opted to go without crew and just take things as they come. A bit of a challenge for both of us, with night shifts, not knowing what weather we may encounter, and filling in the days at sea.
Capturing 17 days of the same thing wasn’t easy… But we think we logged the monotony sufficiently. Check out the vlog above to see what we got up to and let us know what you think.

Unbelievable! What a great story! We have watched thousands of videos and dozens of crossings and I cant remember anyone of them that we enjoyed Mo are than this one! She shouldn't be on the far back of the deck, during fishing, 9:38 like that without a vest on. Especially way out there. It's not all that easy to turn a boat around fast enough. Just a reminder. The simple things can happen at the split second. Much love, thanks! Throw a jug out once and try to turning around and picking it up once. You'll understand then.

I am thinking of buying one when I retire at 55. I have sailed smaller boats when I was younger. I was in the navy for 6 years went around the world 2 1/2 times. can you give me some advice. Did you have any problems with pirates. When you anchore at another country and go ashore did you have to pay fees. I live in Ecuador and the boat will be based there. Thank you.

We did 3hours on and 3 off although we were pretty lax about it and often let each other sleep in a bit if we felt bright and wide-eyed.

Having basic email contact and weather forecasts is fantastic. Worth every penny. A lot of boats we have met have at least some form of contact with the outside world. There aren't many that don't these days!
