I worked on Jimmy's road crew in the late 1980s and Don often showed up at our shows. I found him a road case to sit on at the side of the stage a few times! Also, you misspelled Buffett in your title here.

I was at this show. It was a memory, not an eulogy. If this was an eulogy, there were several that night.

A eulogy is "a speech or piece of writing that praises someone or something highly, typically someone who has just died," so Don delivered a brief eulogy. But semantics aren't the important thing, this was a night to honor, remember and celebrate their and our friend Jimmy. I'm glad you were able to experience it live too, what a night to remember...

Don was so emotional giving that eulogy. He recently lost another good friend and collaborator, Dicky Betts, who Tubbs also mentioned while going through Sonny's cassette collection ☹
