this must be the only car in the world that appeals equally to grandpas and drifters

Great to finally see a Laurel review! Not entirely sure if it’s the first on your channel but the first I’ve seen. Two months ago I purchased a clean 1990 with the RB20DET which only had over 62,000km. The only mods are a manual swap, coil overs and wheels. Such a pleasant daily driver that gets noticed more than I assumed it would.

Yoo this is hella nostalgic lol... my grandpa had one of these back when i was a kid.. too bad he scrapped it bcuz he barley used it and maintaining a car in japan is very expensive

I had exactly such a car in the same color in 2009-2012. The car has a soul and charisma, I still remember.

Those 7-spoke alloys are some of my favorite OEM wheels from the era. I especially like them on the Skyline GTS25.

Always loved these C33 Laurels. Wanted one since I was a kid in Trinidad. If you had one back in the day you were the man. My dad was looking into buying one but unfortunately didnt get it. It was about $75k back then. This is a great alternative to an R32. Also a great alternative is the A31 Cefiro
@sixfeetmonsta6 жыл бұрын
ivorton23 that's like a Trinidad version of an R32........ Not much 32's in Trini either
@ivorton236 жыл бұрын
Yup it is...its like a R32 GTS-T 4 door...never saw a GTS-T in Trinidad...only GTRs
@sixfeetmonsta6 жыл бұрын
I have seen a couple recently in the drag events, but parked in the car park tho. Nonetheless, quite cool to see them 32's in the wild

Kool...I want to get one in the states here...trying to decide if to get a c33 or R32 4 door...kinda leaning towards the c33

If it was my choice, I'd take the C33. So much Skylines there now you'd be different with the Laurel

Man what a perfect car for a DE-T swap. More power for daily driving. These sometimes appear in the wild as drift cars over here. I think the world would be ok with this one just being a clean daily

Hi Derek, Thank you for producing such a great content. You are showing us a genuine car enthusiast inside look, so big shout out to you and to the others, that are involved in production, or just to all of you guys from PCJDM. I don't have my driving licence yet, but you guys are the ones, I would like to get my first car from... well, as soon as I'll be able to afford a decent one :D To the video: Good point about the car shape, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that miss this angular shapes and narrow pillars in today's car design, but on the other hand, safety first right? BTW, I knew its purpose, but wasn't quite sure about the process, so thank you for explaining how distributor works :)

The faults of these laurels are the Ac vents drops out a lot but all an all it’s a great car Nissan
@danielcastaneda78016 жыл бұрын
Toyota must have taken notes on this when they were designing the Windom/Es300. It looks so similar, the frameless door windows, center console, green ignition lighting, the square-ish shape. Unfortunately they just used the Camry chassis, but great affordable executive luxury sedan nonetheless. Nissan used to be ahead of the game with these sedans.

You don't cut the seatbelt mount off, you can separate them and fold the upper Mount away once you do that. Nissan has you covered.
