This should be fun... We're headed to Lookout Pass to do two shows Saturday and Sunday. Right on the Idaho/Montana border. Should be pretty crispy! The good news is, maybe everyone will just want to hang in the lodge with us and listen to music! Thanks for the great reports, as always!

"Grime and muck"--?! I'll have you know, sir, that that delicious fog is what keeps my sunscreen expenses so low and my skin so dewy and youthful. There's no full sun glare gettin' thrown off my neighbor's windows into my office, I don't have to squint while driving, and all the trails are devoid of annoying tourists because they fear actual weather. Bonus: gorgeous landscape photography featuring subtle gradations of grey. Grime and muck, indeed. I'm suspending your PNW Membership Card.

Single digits are in the forecast for Spokane, but at least the sun is out! That constant overcast was getting to be depressing.

Thanks Michael, hoping for some snowpack to fend off the wildfires a bit. I still don't have my winter tires on yet, lol.

I'll be glad to see the clouds go away. My Tempest problem is that the battery isn't getting enough of a charge from lack of sunlight. Voltage rather low even though the device is out in the open with complete solar exposure. So, ordered a power pack to use when no sun.

Grew up on a ranch in Cut Bank, Montana. Tell me about cold and wind. Try feeding cows early before school; 50-plus winds and -30 below are really fun. I retired to Western Washington State and can live with rain. I spent 25 years in South Texas, as I am a petroleum engineer, I will never move back there either. My wife is down with one of our daughters. She can not wait to get back so she can warm up

What effect does this Arctic mass have on the Santa Ana's?
@johnp998816 сағат бұрын
The cold dry air fills lower basins which causes the Santa Ana winds. Michael put out a great video covering this a couple of days ago. Check out his other channel California Weather Watch for more

Fantasy, yes. Always hopeful for snow, but I'll believe it when it's actually here. My completely unscientific prognostication: no low snow this winter for us Western WA folk. And our chances for this in winters to come continuing to become less and less. Once again, the deep south is more likely to get snow than us! (Good 'ol Humboldt!) I hope I'm all wet. I LOVE snow. But, of course, I'm in the wrong place for snow. And with the staggering events of L.A., with more to come - damages approaching $1Trillion when all is said and done, and the insurance industry in crisis, and on and on - we are definitely going to see a lot of climate change refugees coming our way. Mass migrations. Greenland too. (As forecast in my 2008 screenplay, "Ark of Darkness." The L.A. fires too.) Good news for anyone who owns property... Will we become the new "Santa Barbara?" Thanks, Michael.

National Sunday Law is coming! Please read the books "The Great Controversy" by Ellen G White and "National Sunday Law" by Jan Marcussen. Both connect the dots for you. All current events we're seeing lead to Sunday worship by law aka Mark of the beast!
