Well done for posting this, the funniest scene from Pack Up Your Troubles. I don't know what's wrong with the world. I had to wait for a long time in a crowded waiting room for a depressing hospital appointment. To add massive insult to injury, literally if you like, the huge flat screen on the wall was gushing out the usual daytime tv rubbish featuring the downtrodden (which is geared to keep the downtrodden down permanently). What those miserable, gutless folk need is to shake off the 'expert' advice, and get some Laurel & Hardy into their lives! As for the poor souls in that crowded waiting room I was in: how they would have enjoyed this L&H clip on the big flat-screen on the wall had someone, anyone the imagination to re-broadcast these classics on daytime tv (when people need a laugh most!). L&H were made for the cinema/picture house. What joy there would be if a whole house together can laugh at the show on the big flat-screen on the wall! All that fancy flat-screen LCD technology yet no, nada, zilch laughs whatsoever from such a 'sophisticated' technology. The world need L&H. The world needs a new Charlie Chaplin!!!!

Just to add: how nice to hear the birdsong amidst the barks from the sergeant-major in this clip! The tweets almost serve to mock his barking commands. A very nice incidental interjection on screen. This whole clip is pure comedy gold. They must be laughing at it from Medellín to Hyderabad to Krakow. Seriously!
