I love this. Thankfully I no longer travel 150+ days a year for business. It’s also great that your blazer could be less structured, making it far more versatile. I still loved seeing this. We’ve been independent travelers for our 20 years of retirement, but next year we’re taking a Mediterranean cruise with Viking. So no fancy attire required, but since I’ve been living in shorts and T-shirts for years, I’m curious about your take on packing for 3 weeks in Greece, including a destination heavy cruise. Thanks.

The only change I would make is that I would be sure to pack one of the dresses and the black flats in my personal item, because with my luck they would make me gate check my carry-on, and then somehow lose it😂

Out here in the west, if you do not live in a major hub, it's always puddle jumpers, and the wheelie bags don't fit. Gate check means waiting for bags at the gate, and perhaps missing the next connection. Now, I use two personal item bags instead.

@eclairtreo I just started using that combination myself. I've gotten tired of always ending up with my bag gate-checked, no matter what the size of the plane, and being in the last boarding group automatically seems to ensure no space.

Thank you so much for this video. You gave me ideas for the business trip plus the cruise. I have two more questions for you. You mentioned you’ve been to all 7 continents. That includes Antarctica? How did you pack for that? Also, have you seen Heys has smart luggage? What do you think of that idea?

The smart luggage is interesting and definitely has great factors for checked luggage, but has things that aren’t necessary for carry on’s. (Weight and tracking and batteries don’t matter as much as a carry on) but I LOVE the innovation and the app! For Antarctica, it was interesting because I had to pack for hot Argentina and Chile, plus cold Antarctica. It was really only about 40 degrees there, which, compared to a Michigan winter, is very mild. I actually packed in only a backpack. The cruise was very casual, wearing leggings and long sleeves and sneakers on board. When going outside, we had to wear required gear, like waterproof pants and the boots they provided. It was actually one of the easiest packs I’ve done, and I even packed a penguin costume!

Thanks for this video. In less in three weeks, I will be heading for a road trip in Tennessee near the Smokies and Chattanooga, and each day, I will stay at different places since I work in tourism. I have a bad habit of over packing, so any tips will help.

Awesome video as always. Super helpful. Question on the good American jeans - do they have give? I’m a plus size girly myself and I’ve heard that the brand is supposed to be an inclusive size range, but I’ve only known “straight” sized individuals who’ve worn them. If they’re comfortable for you then I know they’ll be good for me lol. Thank you 😊

I love every single pair that I have! I do the “good waist” usually and they are really stretchy but don’t loosen, if that makes sense. You can always go try on at Nordstrom!

Hmm it really depends on what your style is. I have several slings from Beis that are supposed to be unisex, and the Monos one.
