I carry the same size pieces of jute twine in aluminum foil on every knife sheath (fero rod also) I carry, only I drip candle wax on it. It is waterproof and extends the burn time immensely (in effect it is a candle). Don't melt wax on a stove and dip them, that is not needed. Just light a candle and drip the wax on the Jute. I really like your tips, all are very practical and easy to carry. Thanks for sharing.
