When I saw the title, my guess would have been the Mossy 500-except I forgot about the combo. excellent video. Great cammo job on the guns.

To use the tape just make a pile of magnesium, tear off your tape and just pick up the mag with the sticky side of tape, turn it over and use

My mom and dad made the pickle. I remember them having to sit in a crock for about a month after the initial cooking. Lots of thinly sliced onions went in the batch with them. Soooo good!

Use a 3 inch screw. Zip it in 1 inch deep at a 45 degree angle. Literally does the same thing. And it's 1 screw. Nothing else. Skull hangs right off it at an angle

My fav cut call: a bolt and a spent shotgun shell. Just scrape the metal ridge of shell against the bolt threads. You can muffle or even magnify the sound to really get their attention.

ok i did learn a lot.. i found out that i need to find a man with a grinder, an old hack saw blade and a vice to make this a useful item for me... i just purchased two and its no overstatement to say i was very dissapointed in the striker to try and shave anything or the ignition or burntime and apparent lack of heat comming from my pile of shavings which i had to ignite with a bic lighter since the firesteel and striker combo was worse than usless. the duct tape trick made is possibly worth while but i think i might just carry 4 mini bick lighters and some vasoline and my old big firesteel and throw the mag blocks in the bin lol

Yahshua - you know Him as Jesus - was born to a virgin, turned water to wine, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, casted out demons, walked on water, calmed the storm, and fed a crowd of thousands with a few fish and a few loaves of bread on two separate occasions, among many other things. He was killed on the cross as payment for the sins of all mankind, three days later He rose from the dead. Forty days later He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is returning very soon, but before He does, Satan, the devil, is coming to pretend to be Jesus/God (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 and Revelation 2:10). Satan is an angel, and he will have certain supernatural powers with which to try to fool everyone. He will, for example, be able to make fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. He will only be on earth a short time before the real King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, returns. When the real Jesus comes we will all be transformed into our spiritual bodies at the same moment. Jesus came in the flesh to offer forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who believes and calls on His precious name! if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:9 KJV Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. - Matthew 26:6-13 KJV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. To anoint your self, the sick, or a building for spiritual protection: Get a small bottle of olive oil and pour off a small amount into a smaller vessel like a vial or baby food jar. Use the rest of the bottle for cooking. Ask the Lord to bless your vial of oil in Jesus name. Anoint yourself with the oil by placing a dab of oil on tip of finger and touch it to your forehead, and ask the Lord to bless you/heal you. To anoint your home or other building: place a dab of oil on your finger and anoint the door posts and order all negativity and evil out of the house, and order that nothing negative or evil can enter into your home including piggybacking on a person entering, order it to be so in the name of Jesus. Anoint all potential entrances to your home. To anoint the sick: place oil on tip of finger and touch it to the head of the sick and say a prayer of healing over them in Jesus name. See James Chapter 5:14-15. For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.,,,,

I haven't used buffers in the shot. But I shoot a lot of pigeons with a couple thin wads over the powder, and a paper shot cup around the shot. And a thin wad over that. I no longer get lead on my barrel when I clean it.

Actually. Only fill the pan about half way, then after you close the frizzen, bump the left side away from your lock, not towards the touch hole. You don't want that fuse effect, you want the flash in the pan to enter the touch hole to the main charge in the barrel for an almost an instantaneous ignition. Also pick the vent befor loading. I have quilled the vent before loading and get instantaneous ignition, reveling a percussion lock.

Thanks for that introduction to the fusil de chasse. I recently re-acquired my fusil after many years without it. A friend in Ohio built it for me from a kit. This friend is a master blacksmith. I was away from Ohio a number of years before having it sent to me in the mail to California where I currently live.

Hello, Misters Fromme; Just a "THANK YOU!" for this. I got 2 magnesium firestarters & practiced w/ them. I prepped 1 mag block, scraping & shaving a 1-inch long section. I mixed it w/ scraped fatwood. (I know fatwood drys out.) But it didn't occur to me change the saw or the chain. When I used it I took it off the chain. But thanks to you guys I changed the chain to jute twine. Works great to keep it together AND can be tinder if needed. You guys have some good videos. Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!

I, for years thought youtube was for music videos. Last year I joined due to the truckers convoy here in Canada. I love the old ways as I grew up the old ways on a farm on the ocean, where I now know I was extremely lucky. I can remember the first time I had store bought butter, milk, meat. Nasty!! Even when my mom came home with tupperware for the first time I refused to eat from it. I could smell the stuff and it just rang as wrong. Of ll the folks i follow on here you are the only one so far that actually injects the brine, which is how I grew up. I just wonder how many hams are being tossed due to not curing the hams properly. Salt fish was big with us. I just saw where someone ate the salt fish and damn near puked because they had no idea they had to soak it for 12 plus hours swapping the salty water with fresh water a few times over that 12 hour period. Salted or cured anything is 10X better than any store bought meat or fish, seems to me with the food prices these days more folks will be heading this way. Even with low prices the quality is superior to store bought.. Thanks for doing it the right way.

duck tape is actually a REALLY good fire starter....... ya just need something that makes a flame to start the duck tape, however . but that plastic burns so well.....for so long..... its almost like cheating . . in order to start fires in Boy Scouts...... we had to take a test and get a card and my scout master was a picky, anal, asshole . . so all we had was a striker (aka, a big BIC lighter type of spark-er..... but with no gas in it) and the rest we had to find out in the woods . i took my test when it was -40F BEFORE you factored in the 60 MPH winds welcome to NE montana..... (P.S. montana is full, go home and tell your friends) . . . anyway.... i got that sucker to burn passed the test . . but, since im kinda a pryo (which is why they wanted me to fail my "fire test" LOL) i found out that duck tape burns REALLY good...... especially as a starter . . a 4 to 6 inch strip of duck tape will get a SIZABLE twig going!!!!!!!!!! and if ya dont have to start from bark dust.... to bark.... to SMALL twigs.... to medium twigs.... to large twigs.... to small sticks.... to big sticks.... to SMALL logs.... to medium logs.... to ETC ETC ETC ETC . so.... if you can start on bark dust.... and use Duck Tape to immediately skip to Medium twigs...... you are saving a LOT of time . . time saved on gathering the right size (and making sure its dry) time saved on waiting for one step to catch the next step on fire time saved on having the fire go out.... and needing to re-light it QUICKLY.... before the small twig "coals" go out ETC ETC . . . . duck tape is just as good as ANY!!!! "fire starter" they sell . it may be WAY WAY WAY more toxic than some ESBIT fire starter type stuff......... but you probably have heard of Duck Tape before..... and never heard of ESBIT . . . however..... ESBIT is also in my BSA pack..... it will also light from a spark.... especially if crushed (and it crushes SUPER easy) and 1 tablet burns for like 10 or 15 mins.....is wind RESISTANT.... . and, again, allows you to skip from powdered bark to large twigs . . . hell, if all you are trying to do is heat up a cup of water...... 1 tab of ESBIT will do that AND MORE!!! . . . i first learned of ESBIT from my model "stationary steam engine"..... ya light 2 tabs..... and it boils a SOLID cup of water for about 30 mins.....making a flywheel go round and round at HIGH SPEED!! . i learned how to run it super efficiently (even changed the ports to get more efficiency VS power..... as i was too poor growing up to get the belt and drive a little "power station" or other models like that) . so id have to open up the safety relief valve, and pour in more water pretending i was at a siding... refueling my steam locomotive . i was like a 9 year old kid.... LOL > > > > > > > > > TLDR . duck tape..... and especially ESBIT..... make REALLY DAMN GOOD fire starters and both are STILL in my old boy scouts "mountain backpack" (the type with a frame and an elastic belt that goes on your hips + shoulder straps) . the kinda backpack that you can put a whole ass tent and sleeping bag in.... PLUS!!! food and water for 3 days . . anyway..... ESBIT rocks!!! it even works when SOAKING wet
