This should be optional - not automatic. I live in an area where porch pirates have existed for MANY years. I would happily pick up packages rather than have them be stolen or, as I have been doing, either not order items at all or have them sent to friends' addresses - which then causes big delays in my getting them.

Odd. The USPS here in TN will back up, do a u-turn, drive over your lawn, etc. Sounds like they have too many packages to deliver and not enough workers. Keep voting Democrat I guess. lolz
