Thank you, you saved my little laptops (and all my ancient programmes) life for perhaps another year. It fell down the stairs and the - rather useless - door-lock hook broke and fell into the ventilator where it got stuck among loads of dust and gave pitying noises. With your kind help it rebooted and cooled rather smoothly and without all the previous dying-sounds. :)

Please, I want to check the RAM Do I only remove the screws from the back of the laptop? Or should I remove the keyboard as well?

yeah, you can remove the ram and change it. 2gb ddr3 is the maximum amount of ram you can put in this laptop

@@gabigamer7442 with my little brother' s help I installed 8Gb Ddr3L-1600 Sodimm and an SSD memory and it is working very well
