LOVE these packing videos, and combined with the minimalist element, yours is simply divine. Perhaps its because Ive always loved the packing part of a trip, knowing that all those items are all youre going to have while youre on the road is kind of thrilling. I look forward to hopefully seeing more packing videos!!

What a great video! We haven't been overseas since 9/11 so I'm not so sure about all the new rules. Where can I find that? I told my husband when we go overseas we each will only have our backpack like you. I have a bad back so I need wheels. I know exactly which one I want. Just need to get it now so I'm ready. Never been to Thailand but tthat seems to be one of the most popular destinations for many people who backpack or travel. I hear it is quite affordable. What part of Thailand do you recommend for middle aged folks like us and older teenagers? I'm going to put this place on our "to do" list :)

I saw this video the morning of the 26th. By the end of the day I had been told that If I didn't take my vacation time by years end it would disappear. I floated the idea with friends and family today and everyone was more supportive than I had thought they would be. I'm meeting with my boss tomorrow to take the vacation time and if that's all good then I cannot wait for this!

I remember when I went to Taiwan for a month. I took it as a challange to pack everything in a small luggage and a bagpack that I carried with me. And it accually wasn't! The weather was super hot so could left a jacket,sweater and long trousers at home but now I know :P When I arrived I bought a big bottle of shampoo that I was using as shampoo and body wash, pair od jean short (the one that I had was colored by a purple paint in my bag),a white,baggy t-shirt and a pair of pants(which was a huge trend there so I gotta have it) and that was it! Anyways, comparing to other people luggage mine was so tiny, portable, I didn't have a struggle what to wear, with a laundry ect. I loved the feeling not being overhelmed by things and since then i recommend this to everyone :D

Much love to you Brittany! p.s. what camera do you use for vlogging and are you bringing any camera gear with you on the trip? Hope so cause I'd love to see more vids from Chiang Mai!

This has me wanting to travel more. I have a huge backpacking backpack right now but my goal would be the 28L bag you used to have. I am determined to find a travel cpap machine so my medical equipment doesn't hold me back. After watching this video I have used "for sure" many times. I know it's weird but I feel like that saying fits my personality.
@BrittanySTaylor8 жыл бұрын

Hey Brittany, I'm curious as to where do you keep your food. When I'm travelling as a high carb mostly raw vegan, I usually need half this bag's size just to fit the food I'm bringing with me..how do you manage?
@annetteleggett98549 жыл бұрын
Qtips!!!!! Haha! I've been packing with less (thanks for the inspiration). I note what I didn't use (I end up traveling from south to north so heavier clothes). Have you had any trouble getting checked in on a flight ever?
@BrittanySTaylor9 жыл бұрын
+Annette Leggett hahah, right!? They are so good! I love that you have been noting what you don't use. That's such a great way to go about downsizing your pack! On this flight I'll check my pocket knife and peelers in my friend's checked bag. Otherwise everything else goes through really nicely.
