I had my baby 3 weeks ago, used the tens machine it was soo great had completely unmedicated birth. Recommend putting it on straight away, using the booster on the top right every contraction when it starts to get painful and watching the timer on the screen to mentally countdown until the pain/contraction stops every time. I also gave birth standing up leaving over the bed. During active labour my husband heated a regular wheat/heat pack boiling hot and I would get him to press it on my lower back to help counterbalance the pain. It was a great birth I wish the same for you ❤

I loved that stage of planning and packing my bag before having my daughter , watching this makes me want to do it all again 😍 I ended up going home same day as having her because my partner wasn't able to stay in the hospital with me because of the Covid rules, so I barely used anything' I packed 😅

It’s practical but it’s not very comfy if I’m honest! The back on it is low so as a feeding chair with no neck / upper back support it’s not the best option in my opinion 🙃 the brand is Koala

They must keep you in the hospital longer than the US. Typical stay is one day here, which is nice. Was so anxious to go home after. Natural childbirth was a new thing then, over 42 years ago. Lol

Yeah they do here, 2 to 3 days ish maybe longer if needed. Unless the mum really wants to leave that day and the babies healthy they can. ⭐🌼🤰

Public hospitals I think it’s typically a day, but with private health / private hospitals the insurances covers you for I think 3-4 night stay (you can leave sooner if you choose) but I believe c-section is a little longer. We will see how we go, we might want to get home to Bowie, or we might feel like we need the extra time and support in the hospital 🫶🏼

I've had 3 births at public hospitals at the Sunshine Coast each time stayed 3 to 5 days the last time being 5 months ago, the tests for baby take time too. We are very lucky here for that. ❤️🌼

Oh that’s great to know! Everyone I know has been home within a day, sometimes within hours 🙈 (unless it was a complicated birth/c-section)
