Bless you, you just never get things together and done before you all move again. I would stop buying so much for the kiddos because just keeping their clothes clean and them to boot is a chore. Then of course there is their daily meals. Lordy be...my heart goes out to you.

Car boot sale for toys would make a few $$$. I know Facebook marketplace takes a lot of effort but could do box lots of boys action figures, girls dolls etc

When you say donate and get rid of all those toys I see nothing but $$$. I’ve mentioned before that I bought used toys all the time for my kiddos, so your little girls could have these toys rewrapped for them in the future. Selling a dishwasher so you can have much needed medicine breaks my heart for the dollars wasted. Coming from the US, I’ll never understand, I guess. Whatever is donated can be saved for the littles😩

Try not to donate broken toys, it just becomes the Op Shop’s job to then send it to landfill. This is your responsibility not theirs. Why not give your children a lot fewer presents & a few dollars to save towards something special on birthdays etc from now on?

No broken toys have gone to the op shop. I bag or box them in the toys groups to make it easier for them to resell. One reason this is taking so long.
