Dog Psychology Fundamentals- Dogs should Represent Calmness

One of the thing we always tell our clients is to master calm first. Tilly, as many other dogs, viewed dogs as excitement. This can be development after prolonged exposure to dog parks, day cares, and most day camps. In these places they learn things such as constant movement, excitement, barking, and pacing. They also view all other dogs as a source of excitement. We started by showing Tilly that there is a different way to interact with dogs. We showed her a calmer way of life. We will post updates to show her true progress!

Hi! I’d appreciate if you’d let the viewers know that the dog in the beginning when the text ”dogs should represent calmness” comes, is not calm and thats just training to get her there. I feel like this now gives people who dont know dog bodylanguage the image that a dog acting like that is calm☺️

Need your guidance. Our high energy 6 yr old pit bull has been diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. Vet has instructed we can not exercise him or have him get excited, this can cause him to suffocate. Exercise is what we used to help with cooperation with him, now we’re lost. Please help 🙏🏽
