I don’t mind your hand gestures! It’s part of your energy:) it really doesn’t detract from the great talk. I was mostly just listening like a podcast, with brief glances as I sorted laundry. Didn’t even notice your gesturing until YOU brought it up! More question videos!!

Great video!! Great to see Prince, your new addition to your family, starting your video! As always such great information! What a great way to try to stop the dog from peeing inside all the time, makes so much sense when we are tense and upset with our dogs, of course they feel that, and we forget. And Maddie sensing your energy, wanting to leave, how we can look at our dogs and see a reflection of where our own energy is at. Thank you for making these videos, they are so helpful to anyone who owns a dog!!

Hey there from Durham, NC 👋🏼 Really loved the video! I could listen to or talk about this kind of stuff allll day long!!! It’s fascinating how their behavior and energy interlocks with our own. How frequently do you plan to upload episodes? Content is great! Energy is pure! Passion is clear! I wanted to provide just a bit of feedback from a tech aspect-to let you know the audio was dropping out every now and again during the episode. Hopefully that’s a quick fix. 😊 Thanks so much for providing your insight and knowledge. Very much appreciated! Looking forward to more.

I'd love you to talk about 3 different topics that i cannot find an answer to! PS my dog is only 6 months old. 1. I'm having a baby soon, and want my dog to be respectful and calm around the baby. Any tips to get our dog ready for baby would be so awesome! I don't want my dog to feel startled or jealous of the baby. I want the dog to feel comfortable and just overall be respectful. 2. I've tried so many tips I found online to get my dog to walk on a leash and he will not! He likes his leash, likes it on, wags his tail. But he literally just won't move, he won't come like he usually would. (Although he only comes when we say "come" about 70% of the time). With the leash he will usually come to us once, then he just won't move. We have tried giving him treats, toys and affection when he does come the first time.. but the second time he won't do it. 3. When we first got our dog, he was trained on a pee pad and since we live in a very cold climate and we got him when it was -30 outside we kept him on the pee pad. Now that it's nice outside we're ready to get him used to peeing outside. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! #askthepackleader

Great explanations and reminders, per usual. I especially liked the part about intention. It's something I use so often in my yoga teaching and practice. I need to practice more integrating that with the dogs, as sometimes (I can tell in how they respond), I'm very clear with what I want and others I'm really not. It's a good reminder to get clear mentally prior to communicating with them and just filling both of our heads with a bunch of unfocused noise. Another good one, and looking forward to the next!

Nicole Percuoco Intention is huge. Really visualizing what you want and following through with certainty are key. Remember, no one is perfect. It's a process and I myself am still working on getting better every day. It's our own journey and we need to focus on the progress instead of what we haven't accomplished!

100% true- can't think of anything that has taught me this more than Arc. "You get the dog you need" right? :)

What is your opinion on the word "No" when it comes to training / everyday life with your dog(s)? #askthepackleader

I think it's important for a dog to understand yes and no. Ideally from puppyhood, we teach a shitload of yes to teach and show them what to do. That being said they need to understand no as well. Its for the safety of the dog and their environment.

Another fantastic video! I really love how you touched on the nervous peeing thing. I know a dog who used to pee everytime i came over. He still pees every now and then but i am completely ignoring him, no touch no talk no i contact and we are making progress. And i do have 1 question. I had asked you in one of your live videos about prey drive and was wondering if you could go more in depth in a future episode. My dog gets ridiculously hyped up when he sees cats, rabbits or birds in pet stores. He will stare extremely hard then all of the sudden let out a yelp-like bark, cry then sniff around and either lay down and moan or just fixate again. If i move in to correct him he takes that as and opportunity to move closer. If i manage to get a correction in or block him he just tries to look around my leg. Whatever i do either makes no difference or makes it worse. And the only way to get him to leave is to physically drag him away. If we are in a store where he saw a cat or other small animal he wont forget about it til we leave. And outside he'll just bark and lunge in hopes to chase after whatever he saw. Hes not the worst case with prey drive but its definitely getting annoying. I try to not lose it with him but i have no idea what i should actually be doing. #AskThePackLeader
