Pacman was far greater than Ali in many aspects and people refuse to see it because they are drawn to the old cliché of the color of the skin . Ali didn't fight any name recognition for his first 20 fights . Ali was bigger than most of hi opponents. He fought over aged fighters to claim victory. He promoted the anti-white in America . He promoted hate towards Christians. He draft dodged and because of him being a black man he was praised that the black man stood up against the white government. Ali's Carrer was based off of hate towards white America . In the last years Ali did change his ways and understood he would not been famous if it wasn't for Howard . Manny was a different breed . He was a starving 108 pounder and fought for food. He started off fighting bigger fighters because Manny originally weighed 97 pounds. Manny never threw up the race card not once. Manny was always fighting bigger fighters unlike Ali . Manny won the respect of fans not by using the race card but his boxing skills. Ali lost 5 times to smaller fighters even Leon and Larry were smaller than Ali. Manny lost to bigger fighters. From 108 to 154 he put fear in fighters. You can't compare apples to oranges. Manny had a better resume with better skillz and far more Achievements. So stop acting like Ali was all that. He was just another fighter that took advantages of his weight and size. I can name at least 40 fighters that accomplished more in the ring and had better resumes than Ali . I can't name any that compares to Many . PROVE ME WRONG. Let's talk boxing . this is what I've been telling people. To add to that, Manny never had a great coach and was malnourished when he was just starting, totally different than Floyd or the rest of great boxers. In terms of achievement, Manny is a Senator in the Philippines. In terms of world wide recognition and influence, Manny is invited to the top Universities around the world to give speeches. In terms of achievement in the sport of boxing? We really don't need to go there. But if that was the only criteria, then Manny is on another level with his 8 division title and five linier titles. The only light weight to win several championships in the welterweight. Tell me what Ali has done that beats any of that. Ali was born in the US, that in itself made it easier for him. Manny was born in the middle of no where in the war torn island of Mindanao in the Philippines. He had to hide in a boat to get to Manila with no food. When he got to Manila he had to live in the streets and find food any where he could. Then by God's miracle he was able to make a name for himself in Philippine boxing and then by another divine intervention was able to get to the U.S and beat the hell out of champions who only fought him as a replacement fighter. How the hell does that happen if he was not meant to be the greatest of all boxers in all of history. Tell me who has gone through worse and done better?

Yes, he was an important figure during the civil right's movement of African Americans in the States and boycotting the drafting of young men for the Vietnam war which he sentenced to jail for 5 years. Ali's influence also impacted the change of the Apartheid system in South Africa by standing behind Mandela and supporting those people who were racially segregated. Furthermore, Ali also became one of the most influential Islamic figures in the world speaking the truth of Islam's where ever he goes to the point where he became a respected mogul in all Muslim countries. Keep in mind that most of the things Ali did were also when he was suffering from Parkinson disease. Manny is my favourite fighter right now inside and outside the ring. Manny has done so much for his country and his people. Helping the poor and making difference in political issues by becoming a senator. Ali was a great boxer one of the best. His epithet, "The Greatest" was not for what he did inside the Ring. It was for what he did outside. When we talk about the impact there is no athlete in human history who was as impactful as Ali outside their sport. Both are amazing but Ali's name would always be remembered forever.

In terms of world wide recognition and influence, Manny is invited to the top Universities around the world to give speeches. In terms of achievement in the sport of boxing? We really don't need to go there. But if that was the only criteria, then Manny is on another level with his 8 division title and five linier titles. The only light weight to win several championships in the welterweight. Tell me what Ali has done that beats any of that. Ali was born in the US, that in itself made it easier for him. Manny was born in the middle of no where in the war torn island of Mindanao in the Philippines. He had to hide in a boat to get to Manila with no food. When he got to Manila he had to live in the streets and find food any where he could. Then by God's miracle he was able to make a name for himself in Philippine boxing and then by another divine intervention was able to get to the U.S and beat the hell out of champions who only fought him as a replacement fighter. How the hell does that happen if he was not meant to be the greatest of all boxers in all of history. Tell me who has gone through worse and done better?

@@emersonguhiling3429 When you fight in HW you don't fight in any other weight classes. Name me another multiple division Heavyweight champion? There isn't. Except for Cruiserweight but guess what? It didn't exist during Ali's time. Ali was also an undisputed champion in Heavyweight something Manny never was in any weight division. Ali has had more successful title defences win in 1 division than Manny has had in 10+ weight divisions. So don't go around and say Ali doesn't have achievements when he is the most decorated boxer in the most dangerous weight division in boxing history. Anyways my original comment was highlighting the impact on society and humanity as a whole. Ali's impact is not only from the country that he was from. Yes, he was an important figure during the civil right's movement of African Americans in the States and boycotting the drafting of young men for the Vietnam war which he sentenced to jail for 5 years. Ali's influence also impacted the change of the Apartheid system in South Africa by standing behind Mandela and supporting those people who were racially segregated. Furthermore, Ali also became one of the most influential Islamic figures in the world speaking the truth of Islam's where ever he goes to the point where he became a respected mogul in all Muslim countries. Keep in mind that most of the things Ali did were also when he was suffering from Parkinson disease. Manny is my favourite fighter right now inside and outside the ring. Manny has done so much for his country and his people. Helping the poor and making difference in political issues by becoming a senator. Ali was a great boxer one of the best. His epithet, "The Greatest" was not for what he did inside the Ring. It was for what he did outside. When we talk about the impact there is no athlete in human history who was as impactful as Ali outside their sport. Both are amazing but Ali's name would always be remembered forever.
