I so wish someone would remake this for a current system. So many good memories with it. And yes it was harder, but the feeling you had when you managed a difficult part - so good.

Hello Padawanmage, did you use any custom settings for this in DoSBox (changing resolution) or lowering the FPS counter? And what kind of controller did you use? I'm having trouble in the sections where you need to aim on target, but the crosshair simply is not responsive enough to move quickly on a target.

Uhhh. The Kolador level was the bane of my life back in the day. Never completed it. I had to use codes to skip the level

Everybody talks about the mining tunnels in Rebel Assault 2 but please that was nothing compared to the pain in the back hole that was Kolador, hardly beat this when i was 6 took me a week with a ball mouse at the time, but replayed it few years ago with a laser mouse, it's just unplayable (too sensitive) i also had to use the code to pass this

@@fabulousfrance those mining tunnels were pretty easy. Once you get past the first half of that level it's plain sailing Kolador though...nah! Awful level

And to think any real time 3d graphics of today are VASTLY superior to any pre-rendered 3D Motion Video graphics from that time. Another example of a game that had these "awesome" pre-rendered graphics (at the time) was MegaRace. Anyone remembers that one?

I flew rebel assault 1 &2 since 1998 through 2000 it took me a lot of skills to fly and shoot with both mouse and joystick.
