Will, looks like you were "pushing" (shoved forward to aim) the gun as you took the shot, spooking the fish!!??!! Those MS are Sooo fast; no 2nd chance! I was using a new larger gun when we dove the "SS Edward Luckenbach " wreck (back in 1980 or so); it shot higher than my regular gun and I just grazed and lost a 40# Nassau Grouper (legal back then). I did manage a 27# Permit!! Nice show!!

Tell Aaron that patio door is sagging to the center that’s why the paint is worn off on the top of the center strip the fix is to remove one of the screws on the top hinge nearest the center of the jamb and put a 2-3” screw into the jamb and tighten until it no longer rubs when closing

I used to work close to Annapolis and the blue angels would practice at the same time every day and we could go out in the parking lot and watch... It's much better to be seeing it in Key West from a paddle board though!
