Guys this car is not a matter of taste. You cannot say "I like it", "I don't like it", "others are better, more powerful, cheaper". This thing is a one man's vision and idea. Look at how proud they are for every single piece of that car. If you don't get the philosophy behind these things you probably don't understand anything about italian supercars.

Amen, even comparing this thing to the Bugatti, you cant. Regardless of top speed or whatever, Pagani will always be in a class of its own.
@Tyson007ian10 жыл бұрын
Austin Blatner yes, the interior in that car is the single most beautiful interior I have ever seen in a car, even now I still haven't seen a interior which has has caught my attention so much, it's so strange, it's kind of old and new at the same time, with the stick where you can see all the mechanisms and the raw metal look, i've always been a big fan of not covering everything up like most cars today, and the exterior of the car goes without say one of the most beautiful ones up to date, the only thing I don't like about this car is the key, but the machine itself is so nice, I could not care any less!

Yes, it's one man's vision, but you can still choose to subjectively like that one man's vision or not, you can still have an opinion about it. There's nothing wrong with that. This car is art, and art is subjective. If you're trying to say that everyone should respect that it's one man's vision successfully realized, whether they subjectively like the car or not, that's fine to say. *How* you said it came across a little condescending and elitist though... I love the car, but I still think people should be able to still have subjective opinions about it as long as they still respect that it's one man's vision come to life successfully and is "perfect" or close to it in his eyes at least. That's just my take on it...

Assuming when you say "Pagani," you are referring to Horacio. In that case, clearly you missed the part where Jay introduced Francisco as MANAGING DIRECTOR of the entire commpany of Pagani, hes not just there to be an italian translator -_- Besides, a translator is always saying "something of his own." Language is not mathematics or science that 100% of the time can be purely and simply reduced/extrapolated into a set specific system that can be used in translation.... this is even more relevant when English is involved for any translation, as it has such a high variety of diction, along with slang (for lack of a better term) and culture having an extremely high influence of changing overall terminology within groups. Youll notice subtitles aren't used in media that doesn't have significant post production processes, and usually in those cases, often still there is a third party group that ends up handling subtitle implementation

MAYBE in acceleration but not top speed or roll on from a decent speed- I had a 2005 ZX-10 when new so I know bikes and top speed was 186 but how could you even compare a motorcycle to that for class? That car has class written all over it, who cares if a ZX-14 beats it in the 1/4? People who but that buy it for the AMAZING attention to detail not to get a 10 second time slip wearing a leather suit

I love how passionate Mr Pagani is about his cars, I feel if Jay Leno would have made a negative comment about the comfort of the car the guy would have cried lol This is an amazing car. Jay Leno is great too haha

*I feel like Jay could have done a much better job here,* not one word about the on crazy feature of the car, its active aerodynamic system, few good questions asked, too much time spent on too little, I mean the man had to basically force his way in to talk about the idea behind the car, that was pretty embarrassing...

Actually this is such a disgrace,that Pagani wont let him drive it...he drove the CXXR Trevita worth 4,8 Mil dollars,that is more then twice expensive then Huayra. Shame on you PAGANI greedy company you are ;) Dislike from me!

+Oleg Djakonu And Pagani is still here, and the design is spectacular. And its still a masterpiece. Hypercars you must love all of them.

I do love the Pagani concept,nothing against it,but its not good not to let Jay drive it honestly ;)
@featherman98 жыл бұрын
my guess is he did not have the proper insurance to let Jay drive, and even though Jay is a very wealthy man he probably does not want to have to pay for the car incase it gets damaged. If you notice Jay said it was not really legal for him to drive the car. My guess is this is also a customers car, so even though Jay is amazing Pagani probably did not want to risk putting the keys in someone else's hands. Even if Pagani took responsibility and said they would fix it for free it would still take weeks if not months and I cant imagine the customer would be very happy without there car.

Thats because its only a very small percentage of people actually believe it possible. The fact that such a pecimistic comment got so many votes just shows the mentality of society. Start dreaming people and start actually working towards them, you never know where you might end up.

EVERYONE COMPLAINING ABOUT JAY NOT BEING ABLE TO DRIVE: the Koenigsegg was owned by an American (with American insurance) so that is why Jay could drive it. The Huayra was probably brought to his garage straight off the boat. So, if Jay busted it up it would come out of his pocket. I was even surprised to see Mr. Pagani pushing it the way he was. This is a true beauty, as is the CCXR. Both amazing visions by brilliant minds, come to life

I understand everything from this car and how is it made...but I still dont like it, its too refined to feel it like a real car, thata why I consider it more art than a car.
@gusbisbal980311 жыл бұрын
How many times have you driven in it. I mean your feel of a real car comes from what experience
@MindzEnt11 жыл бұрын
Too refined? Not sure exactly what you mean by that. Nothing can be too refined or too perfect or too good. If it wasn't "too refined" it wouldn't be the masterpiece that makes this car a masterpiece.
@MindzEnt10 жыл бұрын
A futuristic toy from the 70s oh wow, lol. A flashy dashboard, and a mini car key. Yeah, this car is a joke. Lol

@danielcoig117910 жыл бұрын
That's right, because real cars are cars you can afford to drive. Therefore, this car will never be real to you. This man built a freaking unicorn and you have the balls to poke it in the eye. You don't understand, and certainly don't have any first hand knowledge or experience with this vehicle.

It would have been more fun if Jay was driving. Mr. Pagani might have been a little over protected with his baby. After all, Jay's driven more expensive cars, the Bugatti Veyron for one.
@RelaxandRealMusic10 жыл бұрын
Well the point was more that the car wasn't legal to drive in yet.. Watch the other video where Jay does drive it! =D
@kirklandelectricicnc10 жыл бұрын
Yes, I did realize that after the fact. Jay has to be one of the luckiest guys on earth to be able to drive these supercars.
@RelaxandRealMusic10 жыл бұрын
Ohh indeed.. If you could choose one, which one would it be?
@kirklandelectricicnc10 жыл бұрын
Luuk Hilhorst Well for starters it would be the Ultimate Aero by Dennis Shelby. The car hold the record of the fastest car in the world, but that could change any time. With 1183hp and 1094 ft. pounds of torque it moves very well. Not the most luxurious interior of a supercar, but definitely a ball buster. The Pagani Huayra has to be one of the best precession built cars in the world, a little too flashy for me, but a great car to pick up women in. I lean more to the Aston Martin Vanquish type cars, It's more of a balanced car for me. What about yourself?
@RelaxandRealMusic10 жыл бұрын
Hm yeah but that tire spin instantly tuns you into a great fireball ;) hmm Aston's are really nice, and the new Vanquish is gorgeous. I'm just in love with every Pagani, absolutely superb, I'd choose the Huayra I think, with the Zonda R as runner up.Though, old cars like the classic E-Type are gorgeous too, pieces of art. It's tough.
