+Nafir Alvarez I couldn't agree more brother. This is the ONLY car that I appreciate as a GEARHEAD, *and for pure VANITY*. (Because I normally wouldn't care much about an interior personally, more about the performance and exterior, BUT, *the Huayra's interior is like a giant finely made watch mixed with a spaceship!* (PLUS it has a PROPER MANUAL GEARBOX!!! :D)).

No. What? No. Sorry? No. It's the other way around, depending on what you look at. Pagani is about art. There is no innovation, no pushing the boundaries. They don't do their main components them selves, like Koenigsegg does. The Pagani here is just another fast car, than is also an art piece. Koenigsegg has real innovation and want to make something stand out. Those flaps on the Pagani? Koenigsegg has it also, just on the underside where it should be. Koenigsegg make their own engine and gearbox; that's a big difference. The Pagani is just a shell for the AMG engine. These two are not to be compared; they are to be celebrated for what they are. But if you insist, we can compare, and the Koenigsegg will be more special.

I think the turbocharging hiss is really good! Unlike most turbocharged supercars, it seems like the Huayra is proud of the fact that it has that special hissing noise. I think it sounds "futuristic", as if its a space ship getting ready to jump into hyperspace.

@1BlinkwithAngels829 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Lai Wai Kit Not only are they BorgWarner Turbos, they are the EFR series turbochargers. Basically low inertia, and more designed for response and racing. There are only a few ways to get that intoxicating noise; BorgWarner turbos or T04Z/T51 turbos. The turbos on the Huayra appear to be closest to the BorgWarner EFR 6758 in a twin turbo setup. I can't quite tell how large they are, but the exhaust housing looks fairly small for response and the induction side is relatively large, but you get the point. They are redesigned slightly so they are not direct equivalents but here are some pictures from one of the greatest auto journalists in the world - Dino Dalle Carbonare. What a name... www.speedhunters.com/2013/10/pagani-tour-next-step/#_presentation-166046 www.speedhunters.com/2013/10/pagani-tour-next-step/#_presentation-166089

What always amazes me is the emotion that a Pagani brings out in the people who drive it. You're not just buying a top of the range hypercar, you're buying a machine that can generate pure exhilaration and cause a grown man to giggle like a schoolboy. I hope Pagani never get bought out by VW, Audi or any of the big car companies. It would be a crying shame to see the quality that comes with having the time get a car refined down to the point of perfection ruined by the demands of corporate executives. May Mr Pagani forever to march to his own beat.

The reviewer was refreshingly passionate about his subject, had a masterful use of language. I believe having a super car is more than just having fun with it, but instead letting everyone have fun with it. Sadly Im not rich... This thing is gorgeous... And as much as some would hate me saying. I LOVE THAT ENGINE NOISE. I've never heard something so unique, and while it wasn't made for trips (obviously) I feel like it would never get old. If I could have any car in the world it would be this one. I currently have a 400 hp 2013 WRX STI with handling mods. It's a joy to drive but this car is the apogee of luxury and a driver's car. I would take turbo noises and a big engine over a huge engine any day. It sounds like a space ship! :) The turbo noises make a car sounds so much more mechanical :)
@jlwk97279 жыл бұрын
how much cash would you say you've spent (on mods) in your STI?
@OviWanKeno9i9 жыл бұрын
Cla mmy I would say with only doing a little bit of the work myself, almost $20K Canadian. I did order more unique and hand made parts than usual though.
@OviWanKeno9i9 жыл бұрын
Cla mmy Also I would like to say that with the changes that I've made to it, it's almost the perfect car. Every time I see it I just want to drive somewhere and when I do go somewhere with it it's always so much fun. The only two things that I find are drawbacks are lack of luxury and that it's too loud for highway cruising. That could probably fall into luxury as well as the sounds insulation on this car is very poor. The sound, feeling under hard acceleration and the mechanical feel and sound of everything in the car more than makes up for those two. Even if it was slower than other cars with paddle shifters, I still think this would be a now fun driving experience. This car makes you grin like an idiot every time you push it hard :)

WRX STi is such an amazing car. It's the first car I ever drove and the first car I ever owned. But driving a supercar is a completely new experience altogether.

With every video I see of this masterpiece, I fall deeper and deeper in love with the look, style, detail, power and originality. That V12 TT sounds so intoxicating, and that carbon fiber.... I would have to make it a daily driver. No way am I locking a beast like this in a cage. Sadly I don't think I'll even get to drive one, even sadder, don't think I would ever have the ability to own one in this lifetime unless I hit the lotto.

+Adam Othman Christian van Koenigsegg is the absolute king of the Supercar world today. He did what every supercar manufacturer wanted to do forever. Build a car with incredible power and a 1:1 power to weight ratio. He built the first ever megacar. And Koenigsegg has the highest density of self-made inventions in the supercar world. They make everything by theirselves. Engine, chassis, body, transmission, ride. You name it. I agree that Pagani is absolutely amazing and the Huayra is a piece of art. But Koenigsegg is just some next level shit. Out of this world. :)
@adam1othman8 жыл бұрын
Rob Ztar You have fact, but that doesn't release you from the fact that this view is subjective. for me the car is about emotion and thats what makes the best part of the experience for me. where as for some its technology or innovation (that also is very important and I'm not bashing that), and so for me the most important thing that pagani has done is keep the emotion, pagani keeps the car special especially combined with the fact that there is a traditional italian way of building these things and that alone is art. Im not saying what k has done isn't important or innovative and I'm not saying they aren't hand made or in no way special. I'm saying theres cars that are built by science and technological advancement. and theres cars designed purely from the heart. they're often slower and sometimes complete shit to drive, but its so emotional and so beautiful yet flawed, but you love it so its flaws don't matter. the k machines are literally perfect in every way and there is no reason to love these machines, but its the other car that feels more like a living thing because it seems so humanly flawed.

The poor guy ran out of breath just driving this car without traction control! He doesn't need to go to the gym that day!

This is a world class car 730 hp to the rear wheels 1000 NM-tq ( 737 lb ft ) 1350 kg dry ( 2,976 pounds ) 230 mph. 0 mph to 60 under 3.5 seven gear manual transmission ( paddle shifters) . A grate combination of power, performance art design and technology. this car will kill a Ferrari F12 even a corvette zr1 even tho it would be a good race.
@sreeves6389 жыл бұрын
***** well look at it this way a corvette has 638 HP and 604 lp-tq top speed just 205 mph. Both pagani and Ferrari F12 uses a v12 engine with the same power out put of 730 HP t do not think a f12 can hit 230 mph like pagani can so for that reason is faster and I do think it better looking

Knight Ryder A ZR1 is only slower then a F12 in acceleration, As it should be, Take it round track, It be like a Miata vs a 911 Carrera. And much better?.....When is the last time you seen ANY Ferrari hit 100k miles?...Sorry, But a car being better, is as subjective as the looks.
@sreeves6389 жыл бұрын
Dre Ray I do not know about that I think that will be a good race I do think the zr1 can win cause it very light and high toqure at low rpm
@laxboy3329 жыл бұрын
Knight Ryder the zr1 is heavy, and power means nothing on the track if you can't put it down correctly. This Huayra would destroy the ZR1.
