Excellent work Sandy! I’ve just begun researching an RV purchase and the information you have shared has convinced me to skip the generator in favor of using lithium batteries. I still have some work to decide what type of system will work best for me and your work is making that far easier than it would have been otherwise.

I have a battery minder for my chassis battery. It goes dead after 4 days.:( I haven’t used the chassis battery disconnect by the throttle peddle. Suspect it needs replacement it’s 5 years old. I like this sens system looks easy to install.:) thanks Brandon

Sandy where is ur Buckeye t shirt. I have a AMP L battery to battery charger so I will never have a resting charge and oh yeah my Wonder Firefly system reads SOC of both Batteries.

Some Unity have the firefly as well, so this wouldn’t be needed.

I don't know how accurate the Firefly voltage readings are. I know in my Unity the Seelevel Coach battery voltage reading can be as much as 1v off. The closer the reading is taken to the battery the more accurate. I would use a voltmeter to actually verify the Firefly or Muliplex voltage readings against a voltmeter reading at the battery terminals.

If I store my Unity over the winter with this installed will it drain down the battery? How much power does it take?

There will be a very small parasitic draw. I don't know how much, but very little. If you plan on storing for the winter, I would add a trickle charge with or without this device. Hope that helps.

@@Pagosa sadly I don’t have power at my storage but I do have a small solar panel inside the windshield connected directly to the Mercedes battery which has worked well for several years. Thank you!

When adding this to a system with a Victron 712 Battery Monitor, Victron 3000w inverter charger and a color control GX console, will the presence of the smart battery sense on the chassis battery confuse the system for the coach batteries?

The Victron Battery Sense is just a voltage reading it won't conflict with anything. It is just another Battery voltage reading but for the chassis battery. The Victron solar controller also reads coach battery voltage. Many devices in the LTV use battery voltage readings and there isn't any issues with those nor do they cause any sort of confusion or conflict.

Hi Brandon, I just got my 2025 LTV this week. I am having problem with right side blind spots. The side mirror is appears closer then actual. I can’t see the car next to mine. I had moved mirror away from the edge of me car now. It sees only the part of the car next to mine now. It is enlarged. Do you have to same issue and how do you adjust your passenger mirrors? Can you do a video for this?

If its the same as my 2020, I didn't really have a problem with seeing. I have my seat all the way back, so not sure if that's an advantage or not.

On my 2022 Wonder RTB the Firefly system displays house and chassis battery voltage status, so would I even need this? I can also access it remotely from the app.

If you can see chassis battery SOC, then you are good to go.
